I'll never forget that when I was watching AOT with my mom and Eren said he always hated Mikasa and my mom was like "quit with the lying you brat, we all know you've always loved her" and just for teasing I asked "oh, how do you know?" and she said "have you seen how he looked at her throughout the entire show?" ❤

Mikasa loved him more than she could ever realize and eren loved her more than he could ever express

I cry everytime I remember that Mikasa always looks more beautiful from Eren's POV 😭😭 (And yes, Isayama confirmed it himself)

When it comes to any convo between these too , and Eren gives her the wide eye look or the side glances , her eyelashes are detailed , lips look prominent and strands of hair fluttering .... He notices all the tiny details on her .

This was the perfect way of showing evidence that Eren truly did love Mikasa despite his lack of reciprocal affection. I’ve watched compilations after compilations of eren and mikasa together and it always seems like it’s missing something but here the echoing of voices, the lingering of gazes and the softness of his voice at times really amplify that Eren cared for her as much or even more that mikasa did for him and that is really saying something.

Isayama showed us the most smallest hints of their love for each other. He didn’t have to make them kiss or have them stare at each other and blush hard, or anything romantic or sezual, it was all very hidden and it was pure and I get why some ppl say that they don’t love each other romantically, because they don’t show it especially Eren, they’re more like “siblings “ I get it now and I respect their opinions but for me seeing this video I can see they care about each other a lot and I see their feelings for each other is beyond than seeing each other as friends or siblings, it’s LOVE 💕 romantic love 💕

I always know Eren loved Mikasa, his love for her was shown in a very reserved way, almost like how the old Chinese drama showed love, or like how they say "Asian parents never say "i love you"". Idk if it's also an old way of showing love in Japanese fictions, but I guess it'd take people who know asian culture to see that. It was obvious to me, in most of the scenes when Eren take time to look at Mikasa, it seemed like time had stopped, and she looked a lot more gentle and feminine, sometimes shy, and she would blush. And when he said "I'll wrap that scarf as many times as you want" that's "acts of service" as his love language, which most Asians also have.
