Alaska is the ultimate spot for adventure in the United States. The state is massive and has so much to explore ranging from backcountry adventures and wildlife to large towns and great restaurants. We took 8 days to explore the state and to drive from Anchorage to Denali to Fairbanks and back. Along the way we had some bucket list adventures like hiking in Denali, exploring a glacier, seeing the Into the Wild movie bus, and soaking in hot springs. Here is the full 8-day adventure and thanks so much for watching it! Let me know what you think in the comments. Alaska is amazing and I cannot wait to go back.

My Dad's book recommendations -

Old Yukon: Tales, Trails, and Trials by James Wickersham - amzn.to/3m5EsCl
"Really good about the early development of Alaska including the gold rush. He was also the first to attempt to climb Denali. "

Three years in the Klondike by Jeremiah Lynch - amzn.to/3kKH0q2
"Also good but more focused on the Canadian area during the gold rush."

Thank you from an old lady who always dreamed of this journey, but due to several issues will probably never make it in person. But I now feel like I have taken this trip with you! You two are blessed to have each other and I am happy for you! I initially thought I will never be able to sit for two hours but I was so engaged that it was over way to soon! Thank you once again for a beautiful video. God Bless you in all your travels and we are blessed that you are sharing them with us!

I can affirm, your dad is a lot of fun, doing those weird things when taking pictures. You two are a great team.
  • Worked as a tour guide in Alaska and I must say this is exceptionally done and anyone would do well to follow your same journey. It hits all the sweet spots FOR SURE!

I live in Alaska and I'm surprised at how many spots I've never heard of, thanks for making me appreciate my state just a little more!

Not trying to be a downer( not that anyone could on such a wonderful journey). Im 43 and have never met my "father" so the fact you have this woth your's is in itself priceless. I do however have 5 children in which mean everything to me. I hope that someday i can share such wonderful times with each of them. Keep up the great work, and hold these memories as the most valuable prizes life can bestow on a person. I cant wait to see whats next. Good luck and great life my friend.
  • Expensive tour filmmakers couldn't do it better. This is the best video I've ever seen of Alaska, and I've seen many. And it's extensive - It's not a 5-minute flyover, showing you just enough to wet your appetite. Rather, it's a thorough, well-filmed and well-narrated documentary film that shows the viewer some of the best that Alaska has to offer.

Man you r not just living the life you are creating unforgettable memories with your dad👍🏼
  • I've got a 20 min TOP attention span for YouTube videos. I laid back being on bed rest via my Dr orders today and played your video. The looks of pure joy and the bond you two Young Men have for true father son bonding, travel and discovery, and pure LOVE made me cry! I so want a jug of that unfiltered Glacier Water to share w my Daddy. He's past his prime so I take him on local trips. Places and things he's said he wants to see and in good weather on Sundays we go! Its never to late to do even a short road trip with your Parent(s)!!!!

I love that you do roadtrips with your dad. Precious memories. Thank you for mentioning the difficulty of trails and the length. We travel in an rv, so it's a little different, but you have given us many great ideas for trips and places to visit.

My husband and I enjoyed watching your trip over five evenings of viewing segments. We won't be going on any trips like this, so watching your incredible trip, your excellent photography, your very informative narration , your enthusiasm and your heartwarming relationship with your Dad, was truly a blessing for us. We are so thankful to have seen Alaska through your lens. God bless you both.
  • @rawbarbie
You’re Dad is hilarious. I love that you guys go on these trips together.
  • I absolutely love your videos, especially with your dad! I appreciate the fact that you mention what is wheelchair user friendly. I've been in a wheelchair 2 years now, and gave up traveling like this UNTIL you showed me how much I'm still able to do out there! Thank you ❤️ PS please include pops in all of your videos 😁

I remember when I was 9 I traveled to Alaska with my family. Now, this video brings back so many memories of the same restaurants, same roads, same signs... same Alaska.
  • @sourdough51
I've lived in Alaska (Anchorage area) and had a bush plane for 23 of the over 50 years I've been here. Last night I saw the video of your trip I enjoyed it, well done! You were 100% spot on with your descriptions, and explanations of everything you saw and did. No exaggerations or sugar coating on any of it. I say again...well done!
  • @HANKM-bl4vn
THESE LONG TRIPS WITH YOUR DAD ARE GREAT. I'VE WATCHED SEVERAL BUT YOU DON'T DO ENOUGH OF THEM. I FEEL LIKE I'M TRAVELING WITH YOU. GREAT JOB.
  • @mrCetus
I LOVED this video...you and your Dad's relationship is really something special and I feel so honored to have seen it...the views are incredible and it is quite the introduction to Alaska as we are cruising there in July. Thank you for all your effort!
