What a stunning home!! You have done a fantastic job decorating it!! That is so cool that the woman was able to come back and tour her childhood home 🥹 such a sweet story
  • I said you was one talented lady in the beginning and now I know for real, you are amazing. Love the old houses brought back to life. I bet the daughter of original owners was so thrilled to know you was bringing the home back. And on top of renovating you are thrifting the furniture, too. Just absolutely stunning. Love it so, so much. Great job, Courtney
  • The character alone in those beautiful windows would be enough for me to say SOLD. It’s so nice to see the transformations ❤
  • Girl I always get so excited when i see your videos pop up😁 The coffee/tea pot looks so cool! I think the dinning room would be beautiful with vintage looking wall paper. For some reason I love a wall papered dining room, i think of the old homes with the gorgeous tapestries in the dining area. I like the island piece the color it is, gives that contrast in color so that everything isn't white or cream colored. Helps it to stand out better too, instead of fading into all the cabinetry. And that's my professional opinion lol😄 I love all the pictures & frames in the gallery wall..i can wait to get moved so i can do another gallery wall, one of my favorite things to decorate/create! I found your channel just a about 8 or 9 months ago, right before you got this house. So I've gone from the original tour, thru all the Reno's/makeovers with you and each one has been amazing! To see the transformations.. Every one is just stunning, chefs kiss🤌🏻💕 First..i love older homes, they have so much character, so much beauty! And I love yours and what you are turning it into for your family! I enjoy every video.. from the makeovers to the laughter!😉 So thank you for sharing it all with us😊

It is a gorgeous circa home … you’ve done an amazing job with what you’ve done. I’d definitely would be ripping that wall out in the MB … can you just imagine a fireplace in the room … how romantic. Maybe you could find some sort of an antique gas insert to put in there ~ it would look awesome! I’d be working with more colour in the upstairs cove … even if it’s on the lighter pastel side … too much white makes it look clinical. And be brave and tear that ceiling down in the boys room … yeah it’s a lot of work but it adds to the circa atmosphere. And you will be selling at some point, so it’s a selling point. I look forward to the transformations of the areas you haven’t touched yet and raising those kitchen cupboards closer to the ceiling, with functional two tier shelving beneath … yeah two would look fitting and being that they’d be functional and would add to the kitchen space. Really love the pocket/french and swing doors … I’d be inclined to see if you could locate a single French door into the dining room … but it’s nice to have a door to separate it. Lastly, yes I love that tea kettle/brewer … the biggest part is a place for the loose leaf tea … I’m not a coffee drinker but I appreciate tea. frothed warm milk and hot chocolate. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the next reno! God bless! 🙏🙌✝️❤️🇨🇦

Those matching Jenny Lind beds!! 😍 and I’m so excited to see your boys’ room for my own inspiration 🤗
  • Thank you for the home tour Courtney!! Your home is just lovely!!🥰
  • @rebakz3049
I really enjoy your videos. Can I make one request? Please have your camera person back up because we can’t really get a feel for the house or the spaces you have so lovingly recreated because we see mostly you. Thanks!

I love the buffet “island” in your kitchen just as it is, do not paint it, it adds depth to your painted cabinets and also hints at the original home. Thank you for keeping more to the architecture and original age of the house by not going modern finishes and trim but still staying current with your paint and wallpaper.
  • You guys have done so much in 6 months!!💚💚💚 Such a beautiful Home you have! 😀. I look forward to seeing what else you do! 😁
  • I am astonished at all that you have done to beautify your home in just 6 (or 7 ;-) months! Amazing. Your home has such good bones and all the details are incredible. The way you are making this house into your home is just wonderful. You are very talented. I am having so much fun seeing your progress. I am in the middle of a kitchen renovation myself and the walls will definitely be beadboard and my entire home is blue of one shade or another. And I am a big FB marketplace shopper for my furniture too. From one DIY-er to another, way to go, girl. You guys are rocking this!
  • @DustyHeschl
You have a beautiful home. As soon as I saw the upstairs landing, I automatically thought a huge bookcase would be perfect for it. I am sure whatever you do, it will look great!
  • @lia12345Abc
AMAZING!!!! You should feel so proud!!! It’s gorgeous…
  • @Faithb73
Your home is looking stunning. I personally would consider a round antique table in the foyer, directly under the chandelier, with a large vase of flowers and a little dish for keys or what nots. Even though it won’t be centered, it won’t block traffic flow and it will give the eyes a place to focus. Might actually warm up the space some, especially since you want to leave it white……I’m with you, do not paint that buffet island. It’s gorgeous!❤
  • Another old house bonus for using glass food storage/cuts way down on mice 🧐. Elizabeth
  • @lisah.07
Brad 😳, lol! Fireplace behind wall... that was funny now 😊. You two have a wonderful home and are a darling family! Thrifting too and and an eye for decorating... Ohhh I'm having so much fun on this journey with you! 🥰🏡🙏🏻♥️
  • @csclose
Courtney, your house is gorgeous! I just recently found you on YouTube, and I am just mesmerized with your work and your style! Where do you get your energy? Keep your videos coming! Cindi (from WV). 😊
  • Love your home so much! Those pocket doors!!! Really appreciate how you are restoring this grand lady and making it home. Beautiful.
  • I just had a powder room built. But it’s a basic grey and white. I love color but I left plain. Probably will hang some pics up.
