David never took his eyes off God , that we need to practice

This really is an amazing example of what God will do through and for His children when they have faith in Him. Bless you.
  • David was a man after God's own heart. When you have that kind of relationship with the living God there's no room for fear or doubt when faced with any "giant" in life. A relationship takes time, effort, and devotion. When you have God on your side who can stand against Him?

This is what the Lord says Don't be afraid Don't be discouraged by this mighty army for the battle is not yours but God's praise God praying for everyone everyday God bless you all .
  • David threw hella shade on Goliath when he was telling Saul how he'd do him like he did that lion and bear 😂
  • The reason David chose five stones, was that he had so much faith in God , that he was ready to kill Goliath AND his four brothers. That’s FAITH!

DAVID & GOLIATH SONG !! David, the shepherd, a tender of sheep Would pray to his God before he would sleep. One day he awoke to the roar of beasts A bear and a lion in search of a feast. David slew both with his knife and his hand Though still just a boy and not yet a man. The Lord's love for David was proven once again When he challenged the champion of the Philistine men. Goliath’s beastly fingers and hideous toes Made David more selective with the stones that he chose. One for the giant, he knew he would slay Four more for his brothers who were laughing that day. The giant told David, "I'll tear you apart The birds and the animals shall feast on your heart." David yelled back, "I’ll soon see you dead And when I’m through I’ll cut off your head!" The worst of all men, drew high with his arm Came forth to David to do him great harm. The youth jumped ahead just as quick as a lynx A stone from his sling popped the giant where he thinks. Blood and bone spewed forth as that devil fell down A thousand pound soldier lie dead on the ground. With Goliath’s own sword David chopped off his head Then took it to Jerusalem to prove he was dead. By Tom Zart Google = Most Published Poet YouTube Tom’s 1,650 Poems Are Free To Share! It is very helpful when one knows the exacting measurements used in the Bible, such as liquid measures of (1) cor = 220 liters/58.1 gallons (1 Kings 5:11), (2) bath = 22 liters/5.81 gallons (1 Kings 7:26), (3) hin = 3.67 liters/7.75 pints (Ex 29:40), (4) log = 0.31 liters/0.66 pints.(Lev 14:10, 12, 15, 21, 24) Of dry measures, (1) homer = 220 liters/200 dry quarts (Lev 27:16), (2) ephah = 22 liters/20 dry quarts (Lev 5:11), (3) seah = 7.33 liters/6.66 dry quarts (Gen 18:6), (4) omer = 2.2 liters/2 dry quarts (Ex 16:36), (5) cab = 1.22 liters/1.11 dry quarts (2 Kings 6:25), (6) quart = 1.08 liters/0.98 dry quarts.(Rev 6:6) Of linear measures (1) long reed = 3.11 meters/10.2 feet or six long cubits (Eze 40:3, 5; 48:31-34), (2) reed = 2.67 meters/8.75 feet or six cubits (Rev 11:1), (3) fathom = 1.8 meters/6 feet (Acts 27:28), (4) long cubit = 51.8 centimeters/20.4 inches (Eze 40:5), (5) cubit = 2 spans/6 handbreaths, 44.5 centimeters/17.5 inches (Ex 25:10; 1 Sam 17:4), (6) short cubit = 38 centimeters/15 inches.(Judges 3:16, short cubit was the measurement "from the elbow to the knuckles of the clenched hand", Insight on the Scriptures, Vol 1, pg. 554) A fingerbreadth was 1 1/4 handbreath, 1.85 centimeters/0.73 inches (Jer 52:21), (2) handbreath = 4 fingerbreaths, 7.4 centimeters/2.9 inches (Ex 25:25), (3) span = 3 handbreadths, 22.2 centimeters/8.75 inches (1 Sam 17:4; Eze 43:13), (4) Roman stadium = 1/8 Roman mile, 185 meters/606.95 feet.(Rev 21:16) Bible reading is much more enjoyable when one understands various measurements, such as Goliath was 9 feet 5.75 inches tall (or 6 cubits and a span), or his coat of mail weighed about 125 pounds (5,000 shekels) or that the ark that Noah and his family were saved by means of it during the Global Deluge was 437 feet 6 inches long x 72 feet 11 inches wide x 43 feet 9 inches tall (or 300 cubits x 50 cubits x 30 cubits, Gen 6:15) Jesus said concerning the "sacred secrets of the Kingdom" that "to you (or his faithful disciples) it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the Kingdom of the heavens, but to them (or those who take no time to do serious research into the Bible, just listening to a preacher preach from the pulpit and pay their "tithe" or reads the Bible with bias) it is not granted. For whoever has, more will be given him, and he will be made to abound (gaining a deep understanding of the Bible, able to "mentally put the pieces together", which is the meaning the Greek word syniemi that Jesus used six times at Matthew 13); but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him (unable to "mentally put the pieces together", to grasp "the sacred secrets of the Kingdom"). That is why I speak to them by the use of illustrations; for looking, they look in vain, and hearing, they hear in vain, nor do they get the sense of it."(Matt 13:11-13)
  • God can and will make a way , when there is no way , all you have to do , is believe in him. God has done so much for me and I'll never turn from him.
  • This story give me goos bumps because it was so good, Goliath was not only fighting David but the Creator of everything, Goliath stood no change of winning
  • The BIBLE is filled with ALL FACTS. 🙏 THANK YOU HOLY FATHER FOR EVERYTHING.
  • "Am I a dog that you come at me with sticks..." That line always struck me as strange until I saw a video of a guy using a shepherd's sling. Then it made complete sense.
