My sister was born with hydrocephalus, she is almost 60 years old now. She is a mother and an important part of everyone's life. God bless your whole journey.

That hospice nurse who mentioned St. Jude to you is an angel!

I think its just awful that the doctors did not put a shunt in right away to remove the fluid from this poor baby's head. The baby had unneeded suffering. Even if the baby has cancer, you can still limit the suffering. Poor angel. Bless this baby.

I am a dominos employee in Forest Lake Minnesota. The moment you said St Jude’s and seeing how amazing your little miracle Fletcher is. It makes me proud to work for a company that supports and donates to St Jude’s. Thank you so very much for sharing Fletcher’s story I will definitely keep your family in my thoughts and prayers❤🫶🏻🌷🎠

Blessings to this family and little Fletcher. St. Jude is a miracle in itself. Thank you Danny Thomas.

I love the way Fletcher looks at you. She looks at you and says, "thank you mommy and daddy, for fighting to help me get better and never giving up hope, so I can stay with you for however long God wants me to." With you as her parents, she'll always know love and security. Prayers for you all, your families and your community.

I’m in Australia. My son had prenatal hydrocephalus, I was given the worst case scenario as well. An Absolutely devastating diagnosis. You couldn’t see his brain on the sonogram, his skull was full of Cerebral Spinal Fluid. He had his first shunt inserted at 7 days. His head was HUGE, he had sunset eyes just like your little girl. He is now 29, he was sick for quite a few years but he made it. He has Cervical Spina Bifida (he’s in a wheelchair) Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Hydrocephalus and is globally delayed but he is amazing! You can have a normal conversation with him, he has a job, friends and is living life! I’m so sorry they left your little girl without a shunt for so long. Her headaches must have been horrific!
  • She is absolutely beautiful and is so fortunate to have you as her parents. As a pediatric nurse, I have SOOOO many questions.

🙏🙏❤ as a nurse I'm not sure how I feel about the doctors missing the tumor in first MRI and saying there's no healthy brain......BUT God does answer prayers!!!

Beautiful- but the parents are so brave too. What an incredibly courageous and intelligent family.

This gave me the chills and brought tears to my eyes my 8 yr old was born with a rare tumor and it ended up containing malignancy I didn’t even know it was possible to have a child born with cancer and no one can understand the ptsd that occurs but God gives you the strength you need to push through we didn’t know if he’d survive or walk but he made it through an 8hr surgery and survived! He has life long complications but he made it! You have a beautiful family!
  • This gives me hope for my mother who's battling cancer and my son who's battling drug addiction. I will continue to pray no matter what. God bless your family!!!
  • Hello. I am 46 and born with Hydrocephalus and had brain surgery at 3 days old. At that time my parents were told that the oldest person in Canada was 12. So yes miracles do happen. I’m not going to go through my whole experience. Had 3 revisions of my shunt but was diagnosed with epilepsy at 5. Now I am married (no kids) by choice. Thanks to early therapy. I can walk and talk. Slight balance issues. Now that ct scans are so advanced the we discovered the cause for my hydro was. Auqaductle stenosis 6 years ago Life is good. Feel free to reach out.
  • I don't understand why the doctor didn't catch this before she was born. She is a gorgeous baby; that has the best parents. ❤
  • A young man that I grew up around was born with hydrocephalus doctors gave him only a few years to live. He is in his early 30s. He has never walked but he is healthy. Happy and lived his life To the fullest. He has been a true miracle.
  • I'm curious as to why this wasn't discovered in ultasound. With my babies, their heads were always measured during ultrasounds. Sweet baby Fletcher...she IS a miracle.
  • It was rewarding as a viewer to see her little squirm and wiggle☺️ to know she's not in uncomfortable pain as it looks😊 I do think this Girl is one of God's favourite angels☺️💕💕💕
