  • Andy: Huh, ADHD huh? I learned a lot about myself. Andy 9 months later: Hey guys are sensory issues normal?
  • @elianabeebe7494
Andy jumping from literally talking about sweating to asking “is it possible to liquid cool people?” Is the funniest back to back combo of bits that he could have made
  • How is ice cream sandwich literally the only person that can make a sponsorship actually funny

I am so glad that I got a therapist who specializes in ADHD. One thing I learned was the ASD/ADHD thing that is Sensory Processing Disorder (hyper/hyposensitivity in your senses), and Misophonia ("emotional or physiological responses that some might perceive as unreasonable given the circumstance"). I was told of guy who got really angry from the sound of the rain. Which honestly made me kinda sad, because for me, sometimes playing rain audio is one of the only things that can help me relax enough to sleep. I love the sound of the rain!!! --- Personally, seeing this thumbnail, I was thinking about how much I hate making calls for appointments/important calls that I just know are going to be annoying/difficult. Because I would rather be electrocuted, sometimes. ---- But for me, even though I have long hair, I hate when especially the ends poke my face or neck especially. Like, sometimes it makes me want to shave off my hair when I'm already feeling overloaded and then getting stabbed by nuisance hair. Or sounds such as coughing or loud plastic packaging noises. It's like...all I can hear is a person stuffing their hand in the bag of chips, and it makes me unable to focus on what I was watching. Or if I can hear someone scratching their skin, or picking their nails... --- tl;dr having sensory sensitivities sucks. But it also rules. I can taste the differences in different water. I see/hear things that other people can miss at first. One time at school, I thought I smelled smoke at school and joked that I wouldn't be able to go to math class. I sit down in class, a few minutes pass, and the smoke alarms go off. Turned out a kid had a cigarette they put in their locker that was not fully put out. So while sometimes being more sensitive to sensory things can suck, it can also feel kinda cool, like being able to read a house number in the dark, when nobody else in the car can.

The glass thing is the worst thing I have ever endured. I'm glad I'm not the only who has suffered by the hands of this monstrous creation

Fun fact, there is such a thing as a liquid cooling shirt! A lot of NASCAR drivers wear them to stay cool during hot races.
  • @Baku_bro
I absolutely CANNOT STAND the noise of people chewing/drinking. Especially when it sound moist. I've got these loop earbuds that I wear at meal times at school, and it was so embarrassing having to explain to my friends that I didn't want to sit near them at lunch before I got them.

the feeling of nails against that kind of paper that’s really REALLY smooth in some picture books will cause me to die. Also rubbing my fingers together when they are dry, have flour on them, or have just been using clay gives me chills anytime I think about it

I absolutely adore the way you draw your dog. It's like a happy little ball of Oreo ice cream
  • @HobbesHobbiton
Now this is some REAL neurodivergent representation. Hollywood could never dream of making something this accurate
  • FINALY SOMEONE THAT CAN RELATE TO THE GLASS PROBLEM The sound it makes is UNBEARABLE
  • @jackyvalle5223
I didn't realize taking hair out of the brush makes noise but I am glad there is someone who understands the sock thing!! I hate wearing socks to bed or having my feet get tucked in
  • @Azuryche
Andy discovering sensory overload and it's many selective traits and how it's mostly a byproduct of adhd is hilarious to me
  • I definitely got the alarm thing, but I got it with the repeated VIBRATING noise not the actual alarm sound so of course I turned off the vibration on my alarms but now any time I hear something like a washing machine going "brr brr brr" it raises my anxiety like I am actively late for school
  • @zacharylee3857
Bro that word that you made up for the feeling of glass just hits soooooo perfect
  • @KStarPR
Is it just me, or is Andy giving off noticeably more gremlin energy than usual in this video?
  • @vintagesoniia
I just found your videos through the magic of the algorithm (and ADHD), and this just made my day. I feel so seen, like I made a new friend who GETS ME!!! Live a long and happy life, my dude❤
  • I also have sensory issues due to the same/similar reasons, and the glass thing also makes me rather be electrocuted.
  • @techtonik25
"Squimchy" or "grippy" glass from the dishwasher happens when you remove all oils and residue from the glass. In other words, you touched clean glass for the first time! I live for squimchy glass.
