You can always count on one thing: In an emergency, the other passengers do not put their drinks down.
-
I tell my son, almost every time we're out on the lake, "just because you're smart enough to make enough money to buy a nice boat, doesn't mean you're smart enough to drive it!" This video is living proof!
-
Just imagine taking your last breath before you drown while seeing your friends on the boat just standing there doing nothing as they watch you die.
-
the boat that sank with the guy getting a towel to put on his face before it sank lol priceless lol
-
So they just watch people almost drown? No grabbing a couple life jackets, putting one on and diving in? Throwing a life line? Anything? Just calmly watch them struggle back to the boat. Crazy.
-
This video gives many examples of why I avoid Miami when I am boating. I have never seen so many rude, ignorant people on boats any where else I have been.
-
This reinforces my opinion that most of these skippers and crew should not be allowed anything bigger than a paddle board!!!!!
-
lol I love how everyone just keeps drinking and watching her swim for her life :face-blue-smiling:

Absolutely mind blowing the lack of urgency when someone is foundering in the water. This is our society today. Every time we go out for a day sail, we review what to do for MOB.Even if it's the same people. 1) a spotter watches and never takes his eyes off the person. 2) Toss a couple of floatables toward victim 3) nobody else goes in the water 4) gently retrieve
-
Nobody seems to know how to throw a cushion or life ring for the simple fact it makes the person overboard more visible. Never life preservers nearby either. The behavior of many of these “captains” is outrageous!

What a lovely summer day. With too many boats on the water, boats overloaded with passages, people drinking, people not paying attention to what they are doing and the boats around them, distractive driving, and everyone in a hurry to get to where they want to go. Resulting in accidents, people getting hurt, and chaos. Welcome to Miami River!
-
Crazy that this generation just allows their friend to struggle and nearly drown whilst they play on their phones and drink their drinks and watch her possibly die.....not on of those dudes jumped in to help her out.....just sat in the boat and watched her struggle .....
-
Watching this video doesn’t surprise me, this is why people don’t understand how easy it is to get into real trouble on the water.
-
the lack of a speedy response to try to rescue these people is sad and so is the cluess boat operators more money than brains
-
Amazes me how they pack so many people in one boat.
-
Those boats are ridiculously overpowered. Must be some kind of "mine is bigger" contest.
-
Alright who forgot to put the drain plug back in 😂😂
-
5:54 The dudes on the top are cracking jokes and clearly dont give a f*ck - meanwhile the brave dude on the left boat is working his ass off to rescue them :D They could at least ask if support is needed. This whole video is full of people that dont seem to care... maybe thats what you become if money and "looking cool" are your only priorities in life? Just guessing :P
-
The sight of boats cruising right on by those people in the water and not stopping to render assistance is pretty sickening.
-
"No one cares if you drown" is the moral of this story..
