This episode made me feel homesick. It is like the home you never had but always searching for. It's quite a magical, sentimental feeling.

funny thing is that the hobbit house turned out to be the BIGGEST house out of all the house reviews that were on this channel)
  • @rachaelscott3773
The fact that the owners asked the production team to build something permanent and immersive for people to enjoy genuinely brought a tear to my eye. The love for Tolkien's world is obvious and I'm so grateful that anyone can experience this!

I visited Hobbiton with my husband on the 21st of December 2023 and it was the most magical day of my life. It felt like being back home. I was so happy walking around the shire and inside the hole (we went through the one with the red door, which by the way is beside Sam’s hole!) Hobbits, like Hufflepuffs, will save the world.

What I enjoyed more than this charming house is Bryce's "kid in a candy store" grin all the way through. I can tell he thoroughly enjoyed himself 😁
  • This video is a fantastic gift to all Tokien/Jackson's LOTR fans. Thank you so much , Bryce and Rasa !
  • As a woodcarver, the movies were a feast for my eyes. The carved accents in this hobbit home are just so perfectly placed. Thank you for this magical tour!

I started reading the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings back in 1972 at age 12. I read the books once a year till the movies came out. Tolkien's mythology shaped who I became as a man. I have fantasized about a trip to New Zealand to visit Hobbiton. Maybe one day. Thank you for this visit to my childhood fantasy. Cheers!

How INCREDIBLY LEGIT that this team got John Howe and Alan Lee!!! Wowowowow. What an awesome place and so cool you got to tour it (and show it to us).

Wonderful, magical episode. Credit to Rasa for the brilliant camera work - she captured the essence of the Hobbit house beautifully 👏

Thank you for this tour. That blue in the bedroom, the bathroom sink surround, heating water for a bath, the beams, the cozy chairs in front of the fireplace are my favorites. There are things people could adapt to their own tiny homes and for some of us, we will never be able to go see Hobbiton, so thank you for this amazing tour.

Bryce, being as tall as you are, I have to say I'm extremely disappointed that you didn't recreate the scene where Gandalf bangs his head on the ceiling ahahaha Shane even reminded you of it! That being said, I have never been happier of a YouTube channel releasing an "off topic" video. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You brought joy to my life, even more than you usually do with your videos :)

We cracked up when we heard the more majestic than usual intro music! This was fantastic and so charming. I'd love to visit someday.
  • @halflink
This is so, so... I'm going to cry. Huge thank you to everyone who contributed to creating this masterpiece.
  • @hopeinparis
Beyond amazing, as Bryce said. Every single detail, utterly charming. Plus, the end music is reborn as a gentle symphony! Wow. ❤
  • @pamelahofman1785
I've never seen Bryce smile so big and genuinely. He looks truly delighted.
  • @nonizafarnz
I don't have enough words to express my gratitude towards your effort in showing this house to Hobbit fans! Thank you Bryce!

The only "non-authentic" part of the home is the lighting, but it's amazingly well done to make the entire ambiance exactly the way it should make you feel when you are talking it all in. What an excellent, well-thought-out use of lighting. So many touches and deep levels of detail. Wonderful.
