I got home in the middle of watching this, my wife saw it, and immediately said 'Is that Fancy Pants!" This women is not a gamer at all, but apparently played it 10 years ago in middle school.

I was absolutely obsessed with Fancy Pants as a kid. I used every opportunity to play the first and second part. My sister and I drew our own levels, stories, gameplay scenarios etc. Once my dad took a picture of us holding our "fanarts" and sent them to Brad in an e-mail. And a few days later, he actually responded. He sent us a picture of characters from the game waving and a short message dedicated to us. For a 7 year old it was incredible. I still remember how happy I felt when I saw that drawing. Still one of the best gifts I've received :)

So excited to see speedruns of these games getting some attention! I've been a part of the FPA speedrunning community for a few years; I made the SFPA autosplitter and briefly held the any% and glitchless world records for Fancy Pants 3. These games' communities are criminally small. Hopefully your video can spark some interest.

The fact that there are two people and two games, and how the world record holders flipped THREE times in the span of a year as they pushed the games to new levels of optimization is insane. Easily one of the best max videos I've ever watched

What we need is an RL rival meetup between Luciousness and dha. Along with a photoshoot of them wearing oversized fancy pants shorts in their respective colours (L in blue and dha in orange).

I’ve been watching ever since the sub 20 train video, and you’ve been a huge inspiration to me and I’m sure many others. It’s crazy to think that I’ve gotten to know you better ever since then, and now actually appearing in one of your videos, something that I never would’ve thought was possible. I say this pretty often but the Fancy Pants series really needs more attention, and I couldn’t be more grateful for this putting the series in front of the eyes of many more people. This story is just one of many in the community and there are still many more to come :)
