Dead men tell no tales๐and the three cursed souls doomed to guard the secrets of this chest for eternity are no exception. We LOVE pirates and DIY Halloween Props and in this video we challenge ourselves to bring to life a pirate treasure chest from the epic Sea of Thieves inspired concept art created by @DaltonPenc (www.instagram.com/daltonpenc/)! This chest is made from XPS insulation foam, EVA foam, and features 3D printed skulls and hardware. The magic comes to life thanks to glowing led eyes powered by an Arduino Uno and eerie smoke from a hidden Microfogger. Weโre so happy with how this treasure chest prop turned out - itโs the perfect addition to our Halloween pirate display and we canโt wait to show it off!

This kicks bum! The purple plum/colour is really different, but very Halloween. I hadn't heard of micro-foggers and that's perfect for one of my plans for this year. Thanks yet again Wicked Makers!

Really cool haunted pirates chest. It's also very reminiscent of the Chest of Demons from The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo cartoon from the '80s.

Best Test - paper cement ... its like barge, but clear and doesnt dissolve xps. It glues EVA to XPS and because its clear, its great for plastazote foam too. The chest looks incredible. You got a sub from me!
