I gotta admit, I respect the hell out of her for not changing her words, even after the backlash. Shows courage, at the very least.
-
She isn’t wrong; we shouldn’t promote obesity
-
Finally, someone who stands their ground against “cancel culture”
-
Jillian is so well spoken. She definitely didn’t mean to hurt Lizzo
-
She’s got a point though, people need to stop taking everything so seriously
-
She is speaking absolute facts, who gives af about the size of her body, it's the music that matters.
-
She’s a world class personal trainer; she’s not going to celebrate someone being overweight, she’s built her life around helping people not be
-
There’s a difference between body positivity and celebrating unhealthy living
-
This aged very very well
-
She's not wrong. She wasn't hateful or insulting, she was simply honest.
-
sure, we should respect people’s bodies but that doesn’t mean we should encourage obesity
-
I'm 190 pounds and I totally agree with her and I'm trying to lose weight.
-
Every doctor that I’ve ever met says to watch my diet and exercise. They should all be outted for fat shaming us right???
-
Hey guys “Truth Hurts “ as Lizzo would sing #ironic
-
Finally... a celebrity that doesn’t apologize for standing by her words.
-
Much respect to her for sticking to her words. She is right!
-
This aged like fine wine after the allegations about lizzo lmao.
-
In all honesty, she meant well.

Obesity is a killer. There’s a difference between being slightly heavy or “curvy” and being obese. We shouldn’t celebrate or encourage obesity, period. Body positivity shouldn’t be used as an excuse to be unhealthy and you shouldn’t accuse anyone of being a “fat shamer” for recognizing your health risks. It’s ok to be comfortable in your own skin, but there should be a line drawn.

She is completely right and I’m extremely happy that someone is being unapologetic about it.
