  • Well, I just bought this welder.....when my wife starts yelling at me I'm going to say Karl made me do it! It's your fault Karl for such a great review!

Just bought the welder. Love the channel. Have a 1964 chevy P10 I am building out for fun. Going to add skirts to it with this welder. Starting with flux core. Maybe u could do a video for us beginners with some flux core tips and spot welding for 20 guage sheet metal by making holes in the sheet metal and spot welding the 20 guage sheet metal to 1 inch square 1/8th thick stock behind as the support for the skirt. Love the collabs between u and half assed also!
  • That was a really engaging and on-point look at one of the new batch of low-cost multi-process machines. It wasn't too down in the weeds on details or cut & polish analysis on welds, just overall features and function. It seemed more geared to the knowledgeable beginner, but the test runs were all very practical. Great review!

Just purchased using your code, Beginner here, your video makes it look pretty user friendly Thanks man
  • I have this welder and im happy with it. Currently running .030 flux. Since i dont have a gas bottle. Still trying to get the settings dialed in to weld 16 gauge and 18 gauge sheet metal.
  • Love your show, thanks for the demo. Seems like a nice machine. Lets see how it is in a year!
  • @SWResto
Thanks for real honest test Keep up your great work!
  • Wow that’s cool welder like that you try and see what it does. Got my vote . Can’t beat the price. If it impresses you got to be good.
  • I have to say, although I've been an engineer and fabricating welder for over 40 years, you and Brent are my two go-to guys. Now, that little welder has been popping up all over the place, and I must say, there have been mixed reviews on it. No matter, because if I were in the market for any welding machine or welding equipment, then I would like to see what you have to say about it first. I think you have proven yourself to be an honest, reputable guy. Great informative video. Nice one, Karl.👍😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚒️
  • @ITJon
Been thinking of buying a welder for YEARS you sold me on this one! Thanks for the breakdown!
  • @dirtydwa
I love the way you weld,I only wish I could
  • Let me start by saying that I absolutely love the channel and the content you put out Karl. Watched this review and decided to pull the trigger on the welder and arccaptians plasma cut50. I was just getting ready to replace the circuit board in my Hobart for the second time. It is now on the shelf. This Mig200 welds better than the Hobart by far. I have been surprised at the functionality and performance of this machine. The Cut50 plasma performs equally as well. Thanks for the review Karl, would have never purchased these without it.
  • That thing works great and your skills are commendable.i just got a CTS200 from amico power that has stick ,tig, and plasma but was over double the money. No mig. Gotta love the rate at which technology is advancing .when i started in the 80s it was brazing and stick only. That brazing is an art in itself, whew and the guy that taught me was an old school lead guy. Thanks for keeping us up on the cutting edge guys!
  • @OGTtom
Great demonstration , thank you Karl
  • @roscoR32
Learning more and more every video... great work ... noticed the Australian Capital Territory number plate to the left of your welders... nice touch.
  • Welcome to the arccaptian fam , ive been using one for about a year and have made a ton of how to videos on them, there a great lil welder also the tig is pretty good!! Keep up the Rad work!!!
