    Mex immigrant here..I came here 35 years ago and struggled just like any other immigrant…I worked all jobs available including washing dishes and cleaning toilets or digging ditches. When I became a US citizen I pursued my dream and became a police officer in one the largest and very dangerous city in this great nation and yes my mother was proud of her m’hijo…sadly she passed away before my graduation and didn’t get to see me wearing my badge and the flag of my adopting country….she died knowing her son had achieved the American dream

    An inspiration some people don't believe in me but that's fine I believe in myself I mest got kicked out of high school etc I managed to surprise people with a bachelor degree one more surprise I have becoming a CHP officer I have worked in the fields it's not any easy job academy I'm giving you my best I'm not giving up I have come a long way it's not going to be easy but it's possible puro pa delante which means keep moving forward

    You're the good guys, that's why you wear the badge! It doesn't matter what happens or how the media tries to sway people's opinions. Police Officers will always be my heros and, hopefully, yours too. They're there for you when you need help and they are willing to risk their lives to protect and serve with as much honesty and integrity as they can muster. So don't ever say anything hateful about the cops because one day when you need their support, they're going to be there for you and you're probably going to feel horrible when you remember what you said. Stay Positive and kind. Maybe hand a cop a rose and tell them how much their work means to you, safety, and the community!
