The 1995 Ryder Cup, Friday Fourballs.

Europe are losing heavily in the bottom 3 matches. Seve Ballesteros and David Gilford are the only hope if they are to avoid a whitewash.

Picture isn't great (sorry). And I've missed the first 6 holes because that was on another (long since lost) tape.

Thank you so much for the upload. I was 19yo when I watched this. I had tears in my eyes then and now. Seve the Magnificent. Thank u again.

Even when his game was broken and he was a shell of the player he used to be, Seve was able to inspire and lift his teammates, his greatness shone through and prevalied

After seeing those thumbnails, you can actually pinpoint the day that Sky Sports introduced a new logo. It was 9/24/95, singles Sunday.
  • What a beauty performance by Ballesteros. he got problems, he got will, he plays not only as a player but as captain, he supports his mate, he helps his mate, he is strategical he thinks in the emotional body from his team, he smiles and wins.
  • The content is great. Anything with Seve is. But the quality is like watching through a sniper scope from the international space station. This deserves 1080p. C'mon people somebody out there put up a version watchable on a phone. Please.

Seve even with his lack of game led the fight and was a father to his teammate
  • Seve is my hero and this shows many of the reasons why.he took Gilford and elevated him for a day to the greatest golfer on the planet.that is charisma, that is genius that is special.he also chipped at putted like God and never ever gave it!his chip on 15 was totally ludicrous.and btw with a 56 degree wedge.try that Phil 😉

If you have it I would love to see the singles involving Seve? This to the accompanying words of Ewen and Bruce would be a treat!

Wow, Tim Barter has been with Sky for at least 26 years then!
