Pokemon sent me to Japan!

What a whirlwind! We're glad you had a great time! 🤗

Imagine being a TSA guy in Japan and you see two tourists come through with eight suit cases and multiple backpacks. They load it onto the X-ray machine and you see HUNDREDS of cute little plushies and merchandise slowly cart its way through on the monitor.

It was such a surreal experience walking right out of a karaoke and seeing Jacob and you walk past my girlfriend and I in the busy busy streets of Japan (around Nishishinjuku??)- thank you very kindly for being so nice and letting me take a picture with you!! As a big fan from New Zealand, it was absolutely not in my 2023 bingo cards to bump into one of my all time favourite YouTubers, and it absolutely made my whole year.

Major props to the Mantyke fan, they came to Japan with a mission and succeeded

i love this era of jaiden promptly forgetting about her youtube channel for a while and instead doing all sorts of wacky side quests. she seems to be having a lot of fun!

The Pokemon Company would not have ever expected Jaiden to be such a high contributor to Japan's economy

It’s always amazing to see someone experience the euphoria of fully experiencing their favorite nerd thing. While this stuff isn’t what I’m interested, I’m so glad you got to experience everything you did. It’s making me excited about a trip I’m about to take to France, my hyperfixation is history (and European sword fighting, HEMA) and one of the places we will see is the Pope’s castle from the Second Schism (a time when there were like 3 popes). I’m so excited to see such a historic castle. I just know I’m going to nerd out like you did in Japan.

I love that ever since Jaiden made that video about Genshin, she's now including Genshin music in the background of her videos. I'm a hardcore Genshin nerd so hearing them while watching makes me smile. <333

I love the fact that in the first videos about her going to Japan, she said how she didn’t want to animate a 30 minute video but then this one is she proceeds to animates a 30 minute video.

31 minutes of full animation in just a few months is dedication I can’t even comprehend. It takes roughly 2 years to make a full animation from scratch and the fact that Jaidens team finished this in such short time is beyond enough. Jaiden and her team deserves a break. Phenomenal job!
