These were the moments the Harry Potter cast treasure the most.

Do you have a favorite moment from the Harry Potter series? Or maybe you have a favorite line from the films?

There’s plenty to choose from as the Harry Potter franchise is full of some great scenes and over the years the cast have shared some of their favorite moments from their days on set. Some of their favorite moments have ranged from Gary Oldman teaching Daniel Radcliffe to play ‘Come Together’ on the Bass Guitar, to Emma Watson getting to work with Helena Bonham Carter, and Rupert Grint’s first impressions of working on a film shoot.

Some of these memories may feel minor, like Jason Isaacs’ realizing he can shut doors with just the wave of a hand, but others may feel larger than life like when Tom Felton fought Daniel Radcliffe in a room of exploding toilets. Maybe it was something romantic and fantastical such as Evanna Lynch’s experience shooting a wizarding wedding or it may have been something silly, such as when the production team had to feed Michael Gambon his lines while performing a speech in the Great Hall. Warwick Davis crowd-surfed during the Yule Ball while at the same time Michael Gambon shared a dance with Maggie Smith. Matthew Lewis was initially intimidated by flying on broomstick while Natalia Tena found it empowering and Freddie Stroma got a bit too carried away with it. These are the Harry Potter cast’s favorite moments on set.

"Dumbledore: Lily.. after all this time" "Snape: Always" is one of my favorite scenes in any movie, for sure the cherry on top of the series.

One of my favourite scenes is little Harry on his first night at Hogwarts, sitting next to the open window in the Gryffindor dormitories in his pyjamas while everyone's asleep, stroking Hedwig and smiling a little... home at last :)
  • Helena playing hermione in disguise was done so well. She embodied her perfectly
  • It’s nice the way that Voldemort always waits in till the end of school year to kill Harry he really cares about his education 📚
  • Just imagine how weird it must be for the cast to just wave a simple stick without magic and saying some words😂😂

I wonder what Rowling saw in Alan Rickman that she told him the biggest plot twist of the decade......to convince him to play Snape
  • @araksa9623
Ralph Finnes's favorite scene being unintentionally scaring the little kid to tears sounds so "Voldemort like"😂😂😂😂😂

McGonagall: "Why is it that every time something happens, it is always you three?" Ron: "Believe me Professor, I've been asking myself the same question for six years."

My favorite scene was in the Chamber of Secrets where the memory charm backfired. Lockhart was hilarious in that scene. “Hello, who are you?” “And uh wh who am I?” “This is an odd sort of place isn’t it? Do you live here?”

One of my favorite scenes in the Harry Potter film is the sweet, innocent little Harry is put up in front of his peers for the first of many times, forced to deal with realizing that he is indeed crazy famous and facing one of the most important dilemmas of his young life: Gryffindor or Slytherin
  • @TotallySane.
It's hard to decide but the scene between Sirius, Lupin and Snape in whomping willow revealing the truth of Peter is my favourite. Ohh, and Minerva confronting 👾Umbridge was just 🔥

The look of wonder that blossoms over Harry's face when he initially sees Hogwarts was echoed on the face of every other "Potter" fan sitting in the theater when they saw "Sorcerer's Stone" for the first time, and that pivotal scene remains iconic even a decade after its release. Hogwarts is as much a character in the "Harry Potter" series as Harry, Voldemort and Snape, but it is more than that as well.

For some reason, I keep laughing at Helena's "I wish to enter my vault" LMAO
  • I can't believe it's been so long since Harry Potter started and finished yet never get old
