This is NOT my Animation. It is one scene from "Hammer & Bolter | Artefacts" on Warhammer+.

"I collect them: objects, life forms, moments."

Straight clip from Hammer & Bolter episode "Artefacts". What we get to see here is incredible. Some of Trazyn the Infinite' collection! The episode overall was great but this just brought it home. Too much to take in.

You know a setting is grimdark when a guy whose a member of a race of omnicidal quasi-Egyptian Terminators is one of the nicer characters.

Imagine one of the statue is actually an ork that thinks he's bean petrified so he just stand still

'But then where would I put my wine, librarian?' 'You… you do not drink wine, my lord.' 'Of course I don't,' Trazyn snapped. 'It's far too valuable.'

Trazyn is basically collecting Warhammer, just like us.

People : This is creepy and weird. Completionist Gamers : Without condoning or condemning, I understand.

Necrons need a task or hobby to keep themselves sane. Trayzn must be the sanest of them all

Trazyn has the most valuable treasure of all: the extra frames from Hammer and Bolter

"in the dark future of 40k, there is only WAR. ..but there's also Trazyn too, just to give you a heads up."
  • what i find funny is that if rare lifeforms cooperate, he sometimes just straight up lets them chill in his museum

I think I read somewhere that Necon face masks express emotion very subtly (so much so that no-one but other Necrons can tell) and that the resting face of Trazyn's mask is basically the Necron version of a shit eating grin, which I think is perfectly in character.

“It belongs in a museum” - Necron Jones
  • 0:46 Fun fact, Creed is not frozen in stasis. He just tactical genius'd his way into the vault.
  • Just keep in mind that this character, in canon, sues a time wizard in Egyptian terminator court for breaking a few pots and stealing a Rubiks cube.
  • “We need hobbies to keep us from loosing ourselves. By that measure, Trayzen is the most sane of all Necrons.”
  • Fun fact Tryzan has no idea that Creed is there. Hiding in plain sight in the middle of a tomb world, that would take some kind of tactical genius.

I'm still waiting for the day when he's walking through his gallery, passes the one with Creed in it, continues walking, stops, walks backwards to Creed again, he's not there just his cigar floating where he should be, then it falls to the ground.

As he said in The Infinite and The Divine "If you're immortal, you have to have lofty ambitions"
  • Let's see - along the right I see an Eldar Phantom Titan, a Squat, a Solitaire, what I think may be an Enslaver, a Hive Tyrant at the back and a mark IV marine helmet from the Sons of Horus/Luna Wolves. There's also what looks like a slab or a book next to the the Enslaver, but I can't see any real details on it. Along the left, a Vespid, a Zoat, a Thunder Warrior, Ursarkar Creed, what I think is a Clawed Fiend and a Spindle Drone at the back, and a book with the Administratum symbol on it. Not sure what the book is, but knowing Trazyn it's something nuts like the first edition of the Tome of Malcador or something.
