It still amazes me that even though I’ve been tattooing for over 15 years, I can still learn stuff from others. Great videos my man.

I was a tattoo artist for 10 years but in 2012 I went back to school and got into software engineering, still doing a tattoo here and there on family or friends. I need some extra cash after a recent divorce so part time firing the machine back up, My kit is old and needles now expired so am re-upping my stock and found all sorts of terminology I hadn't heard before, plus wanted to see what guys are doing nowadays. Not as much has changed as I thought but still I learned quite a bit here. Great video man thank you!
  • not only is your explaining on point for someone who is a beginner but the effort in this video to make sure we understand is a breath of fresh air, thank you so much!!!!

I love the tip use the needles as a paint brush cause when I first started all I had was 3RLs and I wanted to do a thicker lines and started from the start using 9RS for line work so thank you for reinforcing that you can use different needles for different things and by the way great videos

This is the only video on this topic that matters. Honestly, nobody else explained it like this.
  • Love this video it actually let me know that I'm doing the right thing but it seems like I understand this video only because of my experience in tattooing off and on love the way you broke down the needle groups and how you compared them to paint brushes boy I made a bunch of mistakes using the wrong needles at times but now I know I'm ready
