The original Total Drama Island was one of my favorite cartoons of all time. But after more and more seasons for the franchise came out, the quality of the show continued to drop until eventually losing all my faith with the release of Total Dramarama. What exactly happened to this franchise to cause such a drastic downfall?

Total Drama Island: 0:00
Total Drama Action: 4:48
Total Drama World Tour: 7:27
Total Drama Revenge of the Island: 9:39
Total Drama All-Stars: 12:22
Total Drama Pahkitew Island: 16:20
Ridonculous Race: 17:37
Total Dramarama: 19:20

  • The turning characters into babies aspect never ends well for anything.
  • The irony is that Total Drama became the thing it was trying to parody. It started out as something cool and orginal and then slowly died out and became a shell of it's former self.
  • Gwen, owen, duncan, lashanua and cortney had so much potential
  • @im_eepyy
Honestly dj is WAYYY to nice from the point wanting a pet bunny to not wanting to be a burden to his mom. He even rejected a chance to win lots of money. Dj is so underrated
  • I wish they did “Total Drama High School” instead of Drama Rama as a non canon spinoff. Where it takes place in a alternative timeline like Dramarama where the kids went to school together except they are still teenagers in high school.
  • @Splonton
Genuinely, total dramarama would have been worth it if they had an episode where chris gets hired at the daycare, makes some horrible toddler gambling ring or something, and then goes to jail
  • Duncan and Courtney. Great relationship with the ONE EPISODE It seemed genuine in. I loved the concept, and I’m a total sucker for opposites attract trope in stuff. But then they ruined it and it makes me sad.
  • I don’t think season 1 Chris would actually let his contestants die
  • @ArtiicXD
Moment of silence for the kids who think Total Drama Rama is an original series 😔✊
  • Chris becoming more and more sadistic is actually one of my favorite parts of the series
  • ridonculous race was surprisingly good 😳 probably on my top 3 seasons, better than all seasons after world tour imo
  • Total Drama’s downfall was mostly Cartoon Network and Teletoon’s fault.

Let's all just pretend Total Dramarama doesn't exist.
  • In my opinion Heather made TDI the most iconic memorable & great season with amazing moments on screen due to how entertaining she was even though you might hate or love her from drama tension strategy and interactions with other campers are pure iconic. Most well written & developed character of the first generation cast.
  • Heather not being in most of all stars felt… odd. I feel like Heather had made it really far in every season before, and I didn’t like how quickly she was eliminated in all stars.
  • He did not even talk about chef being a totally different person in total dramarama. He is now a nice man the butchered my boi.
  • I always find myself groaning whenever I rewatch Leshawna's elimination, she was so robbed, even if it was 15 years ago.
  • @s0fia.
I love Courtney she was somewhat realistic with her heartbreak. Probably her first boyfriend Duncan changed her into what she really was she wanted her future with Duncan. And then she was cheated on and didn’t know until awhile afterwards but not from Duncan or Gwen she was told by Tyler in front of everyone on live television. And in all stars she seemed like she was over Duncan she even made friends with Gwen until when Gwen and Courtney had to fight and she was forced to watch Gwen and Duncan kiss while her and him were still together in world tour which brought out a lot of anger. Afterwards she realized how much time she wasted on Duncan but is still hurt. Scott just happened to be the rebound guy. She was different with Scott she didn’t try to change him and became extra clingy. Of course their relationship wasn’t healthy because Courtney didn’t like Scott just the idea of him. She then betrays Scott and Gwen for some reason my idea on it was she wanted to win to show Duncan she better without him. Her relationships weren’t healthy because she wasn’t in a healthy state of mind. She was upset for so many seasons because I think she loved Duncan and wanted marry him one day and hoped he’d changed by then. Of course she realized how much of a terrible boyfriend he was but she still loved him and went on terrible path because of it. I could tell in world tour she felt useless and hoped Duncan still loved her. She had so many meltdowns from Duncan she couldn’t realize she was in a toxic relationship until after they broke up.
  • Ridonculous Race was incredible. Just as good as Island and World Tour imo, but for different reasons. They returned to realistic characters and less life-threatening challenges; but most of all, the scriptwriting writing was incredible. It was the only total drama season to ever make me laugh out loud.
