Why I think Avatar is AMAZING.

You can really see how the intense emotionality of her acting affects him. A great example how one actor can feed and improve the other and they elevate a scene together.

In regards to the language, Jim Cameron worked with a world class PhD linguist to develop the language, not just words but diction, grammar, language structure, accents, and all the deep complex vocals that make up languages. Its one of the BTS videos up on youtube. Honestly fascinating to watch

This is still my favorite movie. It has it's flaws but I think it is a very well made movie. People complain about writing but listen to Zoe Saldana's lines and tell me Neytiri is a poorly written character. So glad there are others that realize how good these movies are.

One of the best sequels and movie ever made. 3 hours truly flew by. I hope to watch it again soon. This is a movie that has to be watched multiple times because one viewing doesnt do justice.

note that james cameron wasnt waiting for better technology, he spent the time developing that technology and pushing cinema tech forward. He and his tema developed the tech to do performance capture under water. That just wasnt actually possible before.

I’ve seen too many video of people hating on Avatar, I need some positivity <3 Also one of my favorite videos that I’ve seen on here that people should totally watch in they haven’t is that Biology of Avatar video. It’s incredibly interesting, and provides a cool scientific look at the organisms on Pandora!

Excellent and wonderful analysis of Avatar. Both these movies were amazing.

The reasons why people don't like Avatar 2 (and Avatar) in the West are the same reasons why people in other parts of the world love it - (a) a strong environmental conservation message, (b) a strong emphasis on responsibility , family values, and community cohesion (as opposed to entitled atomic individualism), and most imortantly (c) a strong anti-colonial, anti exploitation message. These three things have a strong resonance outside US-UK-EU-Aus and this is why the movie is doing especially well in the international markets. This movie would do well internationally even if it didn't have the fancy 3D-IMAX, graphics-heavy, motion-capture hook, despite the 'saviour' aspect which is potrayed in a surprisingly un-obnoxious and unobtrusive way.
