What we want to see from SCARLET and VIOLET EVOLUTIONS (Spoiler-free!)

As a spanish person i can say that lechon doesnt only mean the meal (the typical pig with the apple on its mouth) its mostly used to refer to baby pigs (piglets?) It refers to the fact that baby pigs need to drink milk from their mothers (as any mammal uwu). Once they stop doing it they are no longer a lechon (leche=milk)

I love these designs, well done! Also I love how Jack said Quagmire instead of Quagsire the first few times.

Hey Subjectively, I just had a fun suggestion. Since you mentioned you needed more Normal types in Mazah, and since Lechonk's official evolution will most likely have a different name, type, & appearance in the Paldea Region, maybe you could make Lechonk and it's "alternate evolution" Susbristle Pokemon that exist in the Mazah Region. I'm pretty sure you don't have a pig Pokemon in the Mazah Region yet.

If they ever do a Greece based Pokémon region, I’d love a split evolution of Smolive based on Athena. Could have a leaf helmet crest, and an olive for the shield Aegis (which yes is technically Zeus’ but it had a lot to do with her too). Maybe there’s some spiked olive species that can make a spear or something IDK

PLEASE do a video when the games come out on the designs you like vs the ones you don't, and why or what you would change. I've seen the leaks and have my own opinions, but I'd love to hear yours!

Spanish here. "Lechón" is not only the name of a dish, in fact "lechón" is the more accurate term to refer to a baby piglet. Even we use sometimes as a synonym of pig. I think they have, actually, take the name of lechonk of that meaning of the term and not the roasted pork dish. Also it looks a lot like the "Cerdo iberico" (Iberian Pig) that is a type of pig very common on the Iberian Peninsula.

Although the leaks have came and we already know the evolutions and stuff, I love that you've done this anyway to see what your ideas were and they could work as some cool redesigns, remember when you did those? Can't wait for the competition winners video, a friend of mine submitted and I hope his gets chosen not gonna say who it is but I just hope they were chosen. Also since you said for those who saw the leaks to say how close you got them, from the starters video the Fuecoco final evolution was probably the closest since you got the right part it focuses on. For this video the fact that your Lechonk evo is just a simple pig is correct, I can say yours is better by miles. For your Smoliv, sorry but no, the design is great and I love it but this time they made it more gender neutral, that's all I'll say about that. Finally for the Paldean Wooper evolution, it isn't a Paldean Quagsire, Quagmire is a Family Guy character, yours is better the official one is good but yours is better because you actually do something with the skeletal motif, it just dissappears.

Can you do a reaction video on what the actual evolutions are when they come out? I’d love to see that lol

Jack's design concept sense on the first two were absolutely spot on, even if the official results were different. As for Paldean Wooper evolution, that one went in a direction I don't think anyone would have guessed, but he is an adorable big boy and I love him! Suggestion, on the last trailer we got what seems to be the ancient and futuristic variants of Donphan (avoiding spoilers!). Maybe that could be a cool challenge, make a futuristic/ancient variant of Pokémon. Maybe make some for your own fakemon region?

Trying not to type for too long so I don’t accidentally see spoilers in the comments, but just gotta say, you are one of the few artists who I think can genuinely capture the pokemon style and energy, not only in rendering and proportion, but just in energy. Your designs and have so much personality, which is something that lots of fakemon designs are sorely lacking. I also love just how weird and different these designs are, their body types are just so unique. Love it as always <3 PS. I do enjoy that you forgot Quagsire’s name for half of the Glummire drawing process, we love a good quagmire, best type of swamp

I'm confident you'll like the actual pig, even if it has an entirely different mood to yours. And speaking of mood, you way undershot the intensity of the mood you gave your Wooper evo. The one we got has it cranked up to 11. Making it much chubbier than the original was on point though.

I (regrettably) saw the Pokédex. Susbristle is FAR better than what we are getting. I hope that was secretive enough.

So glad you guys are back, I hope you had an amazing wedding/ honeymoon. I'm not a frequent looker at leaks and mostly know about these as my friend dragged me into seeing videos about them but your designs look amazing, quite close from my knowledge, and (dare I say) better than or just as good as the leaked designs. Your videos are always a delight to see so keep up the great work.

I like your lechonk better than the evo we get officially. Smolivs line looks good both here and officially, but its ironic how sedentary the real one gets as opposed to the floating one here. And as much as I love just how friend-shaped the official quagsire variant is, this one plays more into the motifs set up by wooper.

Great job with these, Jack! First, congrats on your marriage! I particularly really enjoyed Glummire, and I agree with you in the hope that regional evolutions take more liberty to push form and concept! The idea that the Glummire has no idea how deadly it is while so unassuming is just such a cute and wholesome concept!
