Just imagining to secretly record a killer as he confesses to me, and pretend to still be his friend whilst keeping myself together sounds brutally hard. The person who did so is a hero

So, this poor girl loses her mother to cancer, her dad is nuts, her grandma is sick, what little money she came across is for her future, and these horrible young men take her life. I hope they got hefty sentences.

I’d call it poetic justice that Sarah was betrayed by two of her closest friends, who were then betrayed by someone they thought they could trust. Huge props to Anthony for doing the right thing and standing up for Sarah. RIP Sarah 🙏

Think about this. The guy that murdered her said in the very beginning “I made it seem like we were better friends than we actually were so they wouldn’t question my behavior with her” and yet the “friend” recording got the murder to believe they were close enough for him to think “Hey I can tell him I murdered someone and he won’t report me in”.

I’m soooo glad Anthony wasn’t actually wearing a wire, I was so stressed out when Liam said he just needed to check him for one. They hid the camera well, thank goodness.

watching these interrogations has made me realize that i’m unknowingly self-soothing 90% of the time.

This is definitely not Sarah’s fault, but a good reminder to everyone: NEVER brag about getting large chunks of cash, even to friends and family members. It’s on a need-to-know basis only. It can bring out the worst in people, even if it isn’t as extreme as this case.

Man, the friend who recorded the confession had some balls on him. He was as smooth as a skilled interrogator and Liam just spilled the beans and told him everything.

The moment when Liam came back to Anthony's passenger side window and knocked, had to be the most terrifying moment of Anthony's life. He was unbelievably professional at that undercover job.

So glad we have people like Anthony here who put himself in complete danger just to do the right thing. A real hero if you ask me. And not to mention how well he acted in that moment. You can tell he’s trying his hardest to not get murdered by these two absolute freak shows

Body cam footage, interrogation footage, scene exploration footage...I don't think YouTube has seen this level of thoroughness before. You guys really leave no stone unturned. It is a deeply tragic story, but one can't help but marvel at the phenomenal coverage by the EWU Team. Wow!
