It's actually pathetic that million dollar companys can't make a movie/series as good as the Alan Becker team

I never imagined a stick figure animation would make me cry. 'The King' is easily his best "short", by far. This entire season actually wouldn't have happened if blue didn't have to fuel its manic Netherwart addiction. We all have to be glad buddy gave in to those intrusive thoughts.

a small detail i noticed was at 1:31:54 the king just threw the gold block not realizing it would risk giving them something if they got the staff back, while at 1:42:03 the king learns from his mistake and destroys the block fearing he might risk losing the staff and giving them a resource.

Better than basically every other 2 hour and a half long movie ive ever seen and not a line of dialog was spoken, bravo 👏

My son put this on my TV one day before bed. We always watch educational videos and movies before bed, so I was curious why he chose this. I've never seen anything made by Alan, but now I'm utterly thankful my son put this on. In the beginning we made jokes, but then I became completely captivated as it went on. I tell ppl this is the best "movie" I've ever seen on YouTube.

I love how much they all show each other affection. They’re all constantly hugging and it makes me so happy!! Especially when they all hug when they’re happy to see each other 🥺

The fact that blue knew that the piglins doesn't were with him in the first place and he doesn't want to hurt them in the piglinwar was just heartwarming. And yes I cried even though I don't cry.

A 2 and a half hour YouTube video with no words using only Minecraft and stick figures has managed to make me cry three separate times. This is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Thanks, Alan.

A detail I noticed is that at 1:40:44 he only does the copy’s once and when he realized that didn’t work at 1:41:57 he made a lot more clones of them, and when they got destroyed, at 2:11:20 he made a combination of the 2 strongest people there, showing that the king learns quickly

Ok, why is no one appreciating the cinematic music??? Yes, the animation is can’t be described beyond words but the music is just as good! Imagine watching the video with no music, that would be horrible. Anyway, the person who does most of the music is Scoot Buckley! He’s amazing and you should definitely check him out and subscribe to him for his hard work. I also wanted to say THANK YOU ALAN BECKER AND HIS TEAM! The story line, the “ dialogue” with no words, just everything is truly indescribable! You made me tear up a lot even though I’m not an emotional person, i appreciate all the hard work you put into this. THANK YOU x1000000

At just under 2 and a half hours with one uninterrupted narrative, Season 3 is pretty much Animation vs Minecraft: The Movie when edited together like this. Genuinely awe-inspiring how far Alan and his team have come. Edit: Also want to give praise to the planning that would've had to have gone into Season 3's narrative years ahead of time. Green playing the jingle from way back in the first Note Block episode so Orange would recognize him, or Blue's craving of the Netherwart that he finds in their very first visit being what kickstarts this entire adventure, to name just a couple. There are so many callbacks to things in previous episodes that seemed self-contained, but here are instrumental in moving the plot along. Very few shows nowadays play the long game to such a degree, but DAMN if the payoffs throughout this season weren't some of the best in recent memory. Now I'm just curious what seeds were being planted for Season 4...

Honestly, I initially thought these shorts were intended for a younger audience but then I walked into my roon with this playing on the television and I was hooked within the first 5 minutes, truly amazing and captivating. Goes to show you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Keep up the excellent work you guys! 🌟
