Follow along with Coach Morgan for a quick but efficient body weight hip strengthening routine.

Your hip muscles support your pelvis and core. If these muscles are not doing their job properly, a strong foundation does not exist, and your body will have to compensate to adjust for the deficit.

I'm going to try this out for the next couple weeks.. I'm trying to strengthen my hips. I've got issues with pain and clicking so hopefully this helps.

We won’t forget the original thumbnail to this video 😐

Oooof. I was actually switching and doing both sides for each as I went because I didn't know you were going to go back and do the other side. I don't think I could have gone through and done all of those on one side at once anyway. I couldn't make it to 15 on the big leg circles. I want to keep at this one, because I sure felt it.

Great video, I'll certainly be trying this! Would you recommend doing this on rest days in between runs?

I like to strengthen my hips by standing on one leg, letting the hip drop on the opposite side, then raise it up and hold for a couple seconds while doing a calf raise. I have a dumbbell in my hand next to the side I’m dropping.

Thanks Coach Morgan! I left the comment on the originally uploaded video, but I love those checker shorts- where did you buy them?
  • And when you've finished, you can always have a game of chess on your shorts... 😁
  • Hey Ma'am Your video is very nice but if your thumbnail is better it will help to increase your video views..Do you need a professional YouTube thumbnail designer?

Going way too fast to gain strength... You should be going slower rather than throwing your leg using momentum
