I lost my wife 2 years ago, cancer, a long struggle, after which emptiness, loneliness, anger, depression and indifference, I have been listening to Lorna Shore for a long time, I love this band and deathcore, but how this trilogy hit me right in my heart, I could spend hours lie on the floor and just cry, screaming into the darkness, for me - this is more than just songs, this is exactly what has been going on in my soul all these years, there were several suicide attempts before, now only music saves me from the last step into the abyss.

Adam De Micco deserves the world for writing this trilogy since its near to his heart

Just a note: Each video depicts different elements, water, snow, and fire. At the end of the 3rd song, the same orchestral melody that started the trilogy, finished the trilogy, and at the end, he ties all three song names into one. Dancing like flames after all I’ve done, I’ll salt the earth and disappear in a sea of fire. Destructively beautifully written

If you would’ve told me 10 years ago that a deathcore song could make me cry, I would’ve called you insane. The entire album is a masterpiece and deserves all of the praise it’s received.

I am 70 years old and I cried. This is a very powerful, emotional song. I love Will Ramos. There is no other voice like his and that can do what he can do vocally. Thanks for showing emotion. It was very appropriate. You offered a great perspective and thoughts. Powerful! Love your videos.

Did you ever think that this genre of music would make you this emotional? It's just so good and the emotions projected by the band is unbelievable.

The openness of the metal community after these songs dropped was astounding. There was so much love and support from everyone to those who were opening up about ideations or surviving. It really opened up a great dialogue.

Metal has something that I would say other genres do not have, especially when dealing with emotional subjects like this. The ability to express the pure rage that can be bubbling below the surface of someone who is heart broken or dealing with a loss like this. What I think makes it unique as well is they do not paint it as something wrong or evil but something human and reasonable.

That silent "I love you" on pt3 always gets me.

This trilogy is hands down one of the best musical arrangments I've ever heard. It's a damn shame how many people won't hear this due to the genre being very niche.

I feel like Lorna Shore is finally that bridge we needed for metal to be accepted on a much higher, and more emotionally-intricate level.

Little pointer: The very last lyrics of Part III are the titles of all three parts. For me, it encapsuled the entire trilogy perfectly, and holy moly, I tear up on all of this every single time.

This song in three movements is so emotional but the moment that makes me cry everytime is the "where do you go when i close my eyes" in the first song. Then Will Ramos scream is so intense and desesperate that i can really feel the pain. It is incredible. This song is a masterpiece.

Ken, I have so much respect for you to have ventured into this trilogy that’s of a genre that’s very much not necessarily the sort of thing that you personally might choose to listen to on, say, a Sunday afternoon—and for you to have embraced this series with such open arms. And just to add: We’re all crying along with you. Damn—this pulls my heart to shreds every single time.
