Absolutely devastated by this. She's been covering news in Palestine as long as i can remember. She's one of those journalists that you feel like she's family to you. And seeing her being killed so brutally while doing what she loves to do knocks the air out of me. Rest in Power, Shireen 💔💔💔

When I was a teenager, I dreamt about becoming a woman like her- a fearless, intelligent journalist reporting the news from those regions. We will not forget about this. They cannot scare journalists from letting us know what atrocities are happening in Palestine. We are with you.

Who ever killed Shireen Abu akleh knew exactly what they were doing, she was wearing a press helmet and vest with clear press sign on it. Her colleagues said that they were targeted by an Israeli sniper. They intended to not just scare or injure her but to intentionally kill her and they know there won't be any accountability.
