Wii Sports Resort really is something special. Wuhu Island is one of the most fully realized locations Nintendo's ever had, which is crazy since it's so down to earth compared to their more wacky worlds. But I think that's the beauty of it, being so similar to our own world, and yet so inviting all the same. And all of the activities from bowling to basketball to swordplay to archery and especially the island flyover gave you tons of reasons to come back. It's genuinely one of my favorite games of all time.

Wii Party U was a drop of water in the desert for Mario Party fans at the time. It's not great, but it's a hell of a lot better than what Mario was offering. I remember being ecstatic to play on a board without piling into a car

Oh boy I wonder how Scott feels about the most musically complex game in the Wii series. I'm talking about the Tanks! minigame from Wii Play.

When I saw the title, I instantly felt nostalgia for a wii game where you ski down a mountain that used the balance board. I haven’t played it in a long time, and maybe it’s just my nostalgia talking, but I remember it having one of the best atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in a game. When Scott got to the end of the video and didn’t even mention it, I googled the game only to find out it was called We Ski instead of Wii Ski.

The island fly over always made me wish it didnt have such a small time limit, there is another island if you go far enough (but it is a wayyy smaller island). It also came with morning, sunset and dusk mode. It was just a relaxing game mode that i wish got brought to the switch

wii party is one of my favorite games of all time, played it all the time with my friend, bought it with a wii remote bundle and it was so good

Damn i just realized the wii music composer and musicians 4:20 are the predecessors to party phi, the wii party host.
