Join me for my art retreat next May for 8 days in the beautiful countryside of Occitanie, France. We'll be staying at a beautifully restored countryside estate, where all your meals and wine are included by a private chef. We have exclusive access to the estate grounds, pools, studios, and rooms. The daily classes will focus on capturing your travels with a sense of joy, creating deeply personal memory pages, and immersing ourselves in beauty that we will never forget. The focus will be on sketching, watercolor, and gouache (all the things I love). All skill levels are welcome!

My classes will cover everything from color mixing and composition to perspective and architectural sketching. Our home for the week will be the Domaine d'En Naudet estate, where you'll savor exquisite local cuisine, enjoy premium amenities, and form connections with 14 other fellow artists. Paint en plein air, fill your travel sketchbook with lifelong memories, and experience authentic French culture. We'll have day-trips to Albi, see the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, as well as Rabastens and Lautrec with time for painting on-location at each one.

    Hey Sarah, congratulations 🎉 I am living in France but couldn't join this painting course. But I confirm all the interest of it. Don't miss the trip in Albi, visiting Lautrec Museum as I have seen in the description ! Beside the museum, for those who like dry pastels sticks, there is the shop of L' Artisan pastellier (he worked before in Sennelier house). The shop also sells some clothes tinted with indigo plant. For those who will be in the team, I hope you will enjoy the course, welcome to France and please make beautiful souvenirs to carry on for long.

    Oh….you will love this UpTrek retreat!!! I went to this retreat location with Harriet de Winton last year for botanical watercolor. UpTrek handles the logistics of everything so well. The hosts are Nicolas and Sophie …they are absolutely wonderful and the food is great and an endless supply! I’m going to another UpTrek retreat in Dordogne France in October. I’m so excited for you and you will have so many lovely things to paint in Albi!
