Thank you pastor Rick. I needed to hear this today. Why it's so difficult for us to see people with eyes of compassion.? Try to walk a mile in other people's shoes before criticize their actions. Dear Father, thank you for pastor Rick thanks for show him your true and heart. Bless him and his family and give him wisdom and discernment. In name of your beloved son Jesus I pray. Ame!

Notes from today's sermon. 1. God doesn't oppose wealth. He opposes greed. a. The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil (money is not the root of all evil) 2. Money is a tool to be used, not a thing to be hoarded. a. Saving vs. Hoarding is different. The difference is from the purpose and motivation. i. People hoard out of fear for their security ii. People hoard out of pride for their status 3. Three motivations for saving a. Save to practice self control b. To get money working for us (not to work for money) - parable of the talents. c. To be able to give to others. 4. Everything can be taken except relationship with Jesus Christ

Thank you Pastor Rick for this meaningful message. It meant a lot and help me feel better. In Jesus name I pray.
  • When you give, you receive more (Malachi 10) so why hoard. When my bank account is low, God gives deposits. He sees how much money I have in the bank. One of your best teachings. Thanks.
  • Such a blessing Pastor Rick. Thank you for the verses I needed to keep watch over greed. Also I remember God extends our time on earth as we give, not only our money but also our time to help others.
