The joke is so good it blew Murray's mind
-
“I killed them because they were awful.” One minute later. “You’re awful, Murray.” Murray: *doesn’t take the hint*
-
The acting here is just brilliant. The ticks, the laughs, the look in his eyes. He probably looked in the mirror for days to perfect this role..its insane
-
I love the fact that Joker asked Murray if he wanted to hear another joke and when Murray replied he had enough of his jokes, he told it anyway.
-
Joker: "How about another jo-" Jimmy Fallon: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
-
Fallon would have probably laughed awkwardly after getting shot.

Joaqin's portrayal of Joker in this movie and particularly in this scene are just masterful! Joker's body language throughout this scene is a great indicator of what mental state he is in before and after the murder. That nervous foot tapping right after he shots Murray followed by the maniacal laughter and placing one more bullet into Murray's lifeless body, the indecisive toss of the gun, the goofy weird little dance and facing the camera at the end, perfectly depicts his irreversible descend into the madness.

the small detail on his eyes @3:23, he slowly crying and letting all his emotions take over and later has his iconic breakdown. God this movie hits, I hope joker 2 isn't some cringe bs
-
“You’re laughing. A man has fallen into the river in Lego City and you’re laughing”
-
Director- “Nice acting Joaquin.” Joaquin- “What acting?”
-
4:19 love how his suit turns purple...brilliant
-
3:16 That shoulder raise combined with that smile is just iconic to me. He just doesn't a give a damn anymore.
-
Joker: I killed those three Wall Street guys Fallon: laughs hysterically
-
Everyone: I’m waiting for the punchline 2020: there is no punchline
-
This scene shows Arthur switching back and forth between himself and the joker
-
Deep inside, The Joker just wanted to be loved. This movie was depressing and excellent in the same breath. Joaquin Phoenix is an awesome actor.
-
Joker: *shoots Murray Everyone: *hides Camera man: fear is for the weak.
-
2008: how about a magic trick? 2019: how about another joke?
-
the way his lips are quivering when Arthur says “you’re awful, Murray.” i’m so hyped to see Joaquin deliver in joker 2 🔥

This scene is just so perfect. It's hard to put into words why that is, but your intuition can just feel the realness of it.
