I carried the Bible to church, but didn't have a relationship. Was a great athlete, but God wasn't part of my plans. Now, I am the Sr.Pastor of Center Point Baptist Church in Plantersville, Tx. Ty God for loving me in my mess.

How you responded reminds me of my daughter she was shot in 2018 by her ex-boyfriend because she decide when he asked can we get back toghter she said no so he kidnapped her and as she escaped he shot her multiple times she had to have emergency surgery to live. she was in the hospital for 9 days but when I tell you my daughter after about 4 days she said mom I gotta call my teacher get my homework I gotta call my job see when can I return I said baby it’s ok to grieve take moment she said no I gotta finish my course so I can get into the ota program I gotta work cause I things to accomplished and with my help I packed her wounds before and after work she wore a abdominal binder to work to protect her wounds 😢. She graduated in 2020 in 2021 she passed her boards and is now a registered certified occupational therapist assistant 🎉 and she has 2 business 🎉 she came out of that hospital a totally different person and I her mother look up to her she definitely is a phoenix that rose from the ashes ❤❤

I can't help upon hearing this testimony but cry, my heart just broke... and I now ask the Lord to forgive me for all my ungratefulness. I'm not paralysed like this man and he said although he is, his heart, his passion and love for Christ aren't. From today, I choose to change and do everything I can to get where God wants me to be, no more complaining or blaming others for my downfall. Forgive me Jesus😭😭😭

This hit deep I recently got a hand injury with no insurance I decided I quit my job. People made fun of me, I got in a really low place I forgot who I was. Watching this gave me the power to believe in myself and say you know what he’s right. I can’t keep bringing myself down. I’m grateful for being able to live still. It is unfortunate I can’t use my hand the same but I accept it.
