  • I have watched approximately 20 laser videos You cover all the things most gloss over. You answered so many questions. It was like a guide for a newbie. Thanks

HI STEVE A EXCELLENT VIDEO ON EXPLAINING THIS LITTLE LASER.NEVER HAVE SAW HOW LASER WORKS UP CLOSE OR ANYONE SHOW ALL THE FEATURES ONE WILL DO. THANK YOU SO MUCH STEVE. THINK YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE PRETTY GOOD WITH USING A COMPUTER.
  • This is so cool. One could make Maker Medallions or even burn your maker logo directly on the piece. Always wanted one. Thank you much Steve for doing this very good video. -Mike

I really hope you do get the 20 watt laser because I'm interested in getting that model. Not really for any cutting capability but just to be able to engrave different types of material faster. There's a fairly good market for laser work on leather items such as wallets and luggage tags. So if you do get the 20 watt laser maybe try out some different materials what all it can do. Thanks
  • @houseofcheung
Great video! Can you tell me more on how to use Inkscape to create images for the laser?
  • @omygodtwo
once you finish the engraving wipe it over with a damp cloth to remove the soot. Also sand the piece first ..I know most scrollers do but it helps.....And don't forget your safety glasses.
  • @NickConteSC
Thanks! can you do a similar video of your 45w laser please?
  • please put the entire thing cutting block and all in a baking type metal pan (paint it black (the pan) using a flat non glossy paint, woodstove paint is perfect ,keep a spray bottle of water handy( to put out the fire (when it happens) another thing I would not use any type of laser in a woodworking shop as tiny bits of sawdust do burn fast. Insure that you use GOOD safety glasses.

Thanks for another great video. I have been interested in something like this for a while and have seen this model online. Where did you find the special version of InkScape? I don't see it on their wiki site. Thanks again!
