24-YEAR-OLD Tasia Taylor is the mother of two teenagers. Tasia and her husband Drew, 26, decided to open their home to foster children and Rory, 14 was placed with them. Tasia said: “We just thought with our age, we didn't know that they would even let us take a teenager.” They then adopted Rory, her brother Isaiah, 12 and Tamiray, 16 who is Tasia’s cousin, then Tasia gave birth to Ashtyn Rose two months ago. Within two years, they went from zero to four children. The couple are both teachers and feel this has helped equip them in becoming adoptive parents but they have still been subjected to judgement. Tasia said: “People say we're too young to have adopted teenagers.” But the couple explained that they are very mature for their age and are doing their best. Their families were ‘terrified’ at the prospect of them adopting at first but became so supportive. The family are entertained by the fact that people think they are all siblings or a friendship group rather than parents and children. The couple would like to have more children and foster again too. Drew said: “We're always going to be the family for them.”

I was just relieved to find out that mama wasn't abused as a kid, the title without context had me worried! The kids are very lucky to have such loving parents in their lives. Crazy to think that some people would rather they hadn't adopted them, leaving them without a safe and stable home.

I was adopted by an older couple with a perfect looking life. And my childhood was trauma upon trauma. I would have a taken young and compassionate mom over old and sadistic any day of the week. Congratulations on your beautiful family.

You know in a way the matter of dealing with a teenager when you’ve only been one yourself in a decade makes sense. You can have a lot of insight to bring to them and they will find you to be relatable

I find it despicable that her husband is accused of such disgusting things. There's something seriously wrong with a good portion of today's society. I'm sorry they've had to endure such hate when all they did was offer their home in an amazing act of love for their kids. We adopted my son & I couldn't imagine being hated on in that manner. Rory and Isaiah really already resemble the parents and tamiray of course as well, ypu wouldnt even know theyre adopted and even though resemblance shouldn't matter in a family its still really beautiful to see😊

why anyone would attack them for this is beyond me theyre taking those kids in out of the kindness of their hearts and giving them a safe, loving home the kids are clearly happy and comfortable anyone whos hating on them needs to grow up and get a life

Wow! The two that are adopted look just like mom and dad! The girl could LITERALLY be mom's Mini-Me! Lol. Looking at them, nobody would ever guess that they are adopted! Y'all have a beautiful family!!!!❤❤❤

These two are teachers. I think that they are more equipped to foster and adopt children, than any of these commentors. If they can handle over 20 children at their day job, than they can definitely raise these kids. Age doesn't matter at this point.
