Cutting my hair off

Wonderful looks I been a hairstylist and a barber for 36 yrs now. I was an army barber both the bootcamp part and the PX at Fort Leonard Wood (my dad was there as a Mstsgt) in the mid 90's. who ever did your hair keep him. follow him do what ever and tell others he did good work. I wish i had the guts years ago to go that short.

I have always wanted short hair, but my mom never allowed me to cut it the way I wanted because it was "too masculine." I gave myself a medium-length bob in eighth grade, and in my senior year of high school, I gave myself a pixie cut. I have a mullet that I'm going to grow into a long mullet and do purple chunky 90s modern highlights. I love the feeling of cutting my own hair. It reminds me that my body belongs to me. Finding a hairstyle/length that feels right for me has taken me so long. But a mullet is perfect because I can have beautiful long hair to play with and style while still having short hair that's out of my face that's both masculine and feminine. I'm genderqueer, so I cut my hair in an affirming way that feels suitable for me. Don't worry about anyone else. Do, whatever feels ideal for you and makes you happy. I just wanted to let you know that how you choose to express yourself requires no explanation or justification. You just are who you are.

Nothing awwfull about cutting your own hair to save money at a salon unless you slightly mess up with scissors? If you cut your own hair and do not have a salon do it unless you do not like it or can be happy with how you did it. I like the fade your second stylist did. You both look good!
