It has almost been 5 years and I still think of this case. I cried for them whe I found out what happened to them. And Nickole is a hero for trusting her guts and reacting so quickly. A true friend! I will always remember Shanann and her babies for the rest of my life.

Nikole is what we all need to strive to be. She trusted her instincts. GREAT FRIEND! Just proves how precious of a soul Shannan was. Good people flock to good people. Chris couldn't snuff out her light. RIP Shannan, Bella, Cece and Nico.

Nickole Atkinson is single-handedly responsible for this case being resolved so quickly. This woman knew her friend and trusted her gut. She FOUGHT for Shannan when Chris thought he’d made a clean getaway. I pray my friends/family would fight for me the same way she fought for Shannan.

If there is any thing I want to say to Chris is how dare you try to blame your wife, when you knew she was dead, and she couldn't defend herself against your lies? And how dare you murder two innocent little girls and your unborn son, just because they didn't fit in with your plan with your new woman. And last but not least how dare you murder Bella when she knew what you did to her little sister and asked you to spare her?
