Growing up, I had a friend who had an amazing stair landing in her historical home but her parents never put anything there and I always thought it would make a great lounge for all the kids since the parents bedroom was downstairs directly off of the living room. I was always so baffled as to why they ignored it, it was sad to see a great wasted space. They also ignored the magnificent two story large wall that went up the stairs as well, which would have made the ultimate gallery wall
