As far as I’m concerned, any game that makes you say out loud “I hate this game” and then you proceed to continue to play said game, is what truly makes or breaks a souls like.

That Van Gogh game looks dope actually. Such an odd atmosphere, and good execution.

Starry knight was such a genuinely touching game as it tries to convey the conflict within the artist. Honestly made me kinda emotional knowing his life history.

starry knight actually got me in my feels with the final boss being called stranger when its his older self and then the "and its not pain that makes a real artist it is love"

I fully expect this series to be theoretically capable of going on forever because souls-likes release at a faster rate than Pineapple can review them.
