2014 Cancer survivor here - My opinion: Only eat 2 meals a day, within 6 hours of each other. go light on carbs, almost no sweets, plenty of veggies, some healthy meat/fish protein, and some fruits. You can blow it one day each week. And definitely add one or two raw garlic cloves every evening and drink some ginger juice everyday also. Stay active, jog or swim or cycle. I hope this helps.

Everybody should do this not just cancer survivors
  • I just wanted to say that beans, chickpeas and lentils are excellent sources of protein and fiber and can easily be added to any meal including salads.

True.. after you’re finished with chemotherapy you’re on your own. They won’t give you a nutritional guidelines or detailed guide on what to eat daily or not to eat. It’s like an unfinished business. You need to do your own homework to survive. I’m glad I did my own homework and I’m blessed im still alive it’s been 12 years past🙏
  • Going KEYO worked for me as a cancer survivor and you are satiated. No carbs - wheat, flour etc.. No sugar - no chocolate. No junk food or snacks. I also lean towards organic. I eat lots of cruciferous vegetables. I usually eat two meals a day. If I am not hungry, I don't eat. I often go one meal a day and occasionally fast. I would NEVER recommend a plant based diet - you need meat for protein - beef (steak) and seafood (Salmon, sardines etc.). Eggs are excellent too - pasture raised. I have cancer in remission in two locations so I did my homework on this. Also there are herbs that are anti cancer like curcumin in termeric - gold milk is delicious and add pepper to activate the curcumin. Extra virgin olive oil is good too but make sure it is cold pressed and not imitation extra virgin olive oil. I can't list all that I eat but wanted to add more foods that are good for you and keep you healthy. One more thing, exercise or just go for a walk. You'll feel more energized too once you incorporate this as part of your life. You don't need to go crazy with intense workouts.

Thank you so much Dr. Amy ! So happy your well ! Great tips ! I had stage 2 cancer in 2020 ! Found a great nutritionist ! Couldn’t do the complete vegan , so I have implemented fish, chicken , eggs , removed milk And cheese only on occasion , and he stated no Alcohol ever , it ignites cancer cells ! Honestly that’s the only thing I miss occasionally ! But it’s worth not having cancer again ! God Bless ❤
