I like my Glocks. They're like the Toyota Camry of weapons. They're boring, familiar and they always work.

Retired Federal Agent here. Huge fan of glocks. They are the most durable, dependable handgun that I have used IMO.
  • My former department (LA Sheriff-retired) has had Beretta 92’s break, Hk USP .45’s go KA-BOOM, Glocks break, M&P’s go “KA BOOM” etc…. There’s so many variables that can cause permanent destruction on firearms and it’s not isolated to just any one brand of gun maker. “If man makes it, man will find a way to break it.”

I bet the majority of Glocks that do fail are the ones with the aftermarket parts installed.

"Glock finally got it right"??? Glock always had "it right!!!"

I have a Gen 2 model 17 that I retired after 10,000 rounds with no issues and all original parts. Glock, it's not pretty, but it goes bang when needed.

The slide is not what is hard to conceal. It's the length of the grip that is hard to conceal. So Glock got it right, shorten the grip and leave the slide alone for concealability.

I always chuckle when I hear people talk about how bad the stock Glock triggers are. For my first 10 years, we were forced to carry the NY1 trigger, which is about 8 pounds. I still use to shoot a 250/250, but it took a lot of work, especially at the 25 yard line. When we finally switched to the stock trigger I was blown away how much easier it was to shoot accurately. Are there better triggers out there? Yes. But there are a lot worse triggers.

So great to see a sheriff like Grady Judd. Pro gun, pro freedom. Love your channel sheriff.
  • I’ll just say that training is everything, and if you do it right, you can shoot any good gun well. Nothing wrong with Glocks.

Had the G45 for goin on 3yrs. Love it for the same reasons. Wished Glock would combine the G26 slide and the G19 grip & frame. I'd buy one.

Sheriff, I agree with you - the G45 is the best duty pistol I’ve carried. We switched two years ago from G21s to G45s. There are so many good things to say about this pistol, especially the slide and grip length configurations and the better trigger.

I personally think Glock pistols look amazing and are incredibly reliable. Glock and myself have been side by side for many years protecting me and my family. I’m proud to be a Glock stocker.

I really enjoyed this video, Sheriff. I have a g19 Gen 5, and a g48 Gen 5. Bought them last year so I have become a fan of the Glock of sorts. The reason I bought Glock pistols is because of their reliability. I've been thinking about getting the model 45, it does feel good in the hand. My pinky finger does hang over the end of the 19 without a MAG in it, but with the mag it is just enough to get a full grip. Thank you sir, and keep these fine videos coming.

I’ve been Glock person for years never had a one of those guns fail. Very good guns.

I stumbled onto a couple of your videos. I have to say I am very impressed with your very fair analysis and observations. Good to run into folks like that on YouTube 👍
  • Glock is great since the 17 None of the glocks change much I carried one for over 20 years on duty, and longer off duty
  • @ember357danman5
I went with a Glock 45 . I can't believe that it surpassed the Glock 19 in my book. Glock 19 slide with a full size grip . I love that it takes 17 Glock mags flush !!
  • @buddyx6
I took a Dremel and a file to my G19 gen3 trigger guard, I have big hands also. I just purchased the G48 and love it, it's the combination of the G19 and G43X, frame and grip size of the 19 and the width of the 43X. There's also aftermarket 15 round mags that work great in it! "KEEP ON KEEPIN ON"
