If they didn't curse I would of assumed this was a actual episode because the voices/animations are so accurate

The fact that Officer Jenny just smiles as Meowth reveals they're part of an evil organization says alot about how seriously she takes her job in this canon.

You know, everyone gives team aqua and magma loads of crap for having the worst plans in the franchise, but Idk if they were even trying to be that insane with it, when either of them learns their legendary is gonna go overboard with the whole thing and flood/dry the earth completely, they are pretty surprised. Maybe archie just wanted to change the coasts just enough to wet drought-prone areas, and Maxie just wanted to expand the coasts by just a bit or surface a landbridge between Hoenn's islands. The only problem is that neither of them were geologists or meteorologists. So effectively they're just like redditors arguing over the world's problems except they have legitimate followers and power.

As a Floridian- Louisianan I can verify that Team Magma is saving us from rising sea Level

the fact that meowth is the one to get them cancelled is actually so in-character

Meowth goes from "Maybe Maxie wasn't entirely unjustified" to "I wish everyone in Hoenn was dead if it meant there was no water" over the course of 2 minutes

As a lifelong member of Team Magma, I support this message.

I love how the team rocket justifies considering themselves above team magma by saying they don't do their jobs well

This is proof that a Pokémon show with adult humour would be the best thing ever.

Honestly the characterization here is pretty on point. James expressing the most empathy for other people and Pokémon, Jessie constantly fumbling what could be good ideas, meowth having no filter, and the podcast being a simple get rich quick scheme that has larger consequences (albeit positive initially)

I really think a show about these guys talking for 20 minutes would be the GOAT
