Neil doesn't know this, but for the last 40 or so years, he has been riding shotgun with me. Through all the happiness and the heartache, the laughter and the tears. He has been right there the whole time. Thanks, Neil, it would have all sounded like shit without you there.

I met Neil Young backstage at Winterland in the seventies. I will never forget what he said to my brother and me. He turned and with a wild look in his eyes he said MAN I HAVE TO PISS BAD.

I'm brazilian and in 1978 I began to listen to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, introduced by a friend. I taught myself the acoustic guitar and bought a harmonica to use with an aluminum rack. I wanted to learn how to play Neil's folk songs so much that I succeeded into playing both together, after insisting very very much.

I've been listening to Neil Young for over 50 years. I don't expect him to say thank you. No thank you Neil Young for being yourself. You are what you are and that is real. Always love your style and your music you brought so much joy to my life. Long may you run Neil.
