Dad died today. 1:20 am. A five day battle with brain cancer. I played this song for hours on a $49 dollar acoustic guitar beside his death bed. He couldn't talk but I know he could hear. It was the last song he ever heard, and it was an honor to play it for you. I'll miss you forever dad. Edit: Your comments saved my life. Thank you. ;

Dave Grohl from Nirvana looks like Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters.

My neighbor bought this cd in 1998. He was excited to show me. He pass away 5 years later. RIP bro

When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you ❤️😊

RIP Taylor Hawkins, the incredible beating heart of the Foo Fighters has gone.

There's something about that intro that just pumps you up no matter how many times you hear it...

My sister passed away, this was her favorite band, and this was her favorite song. On her headstone says “Hello, I’ve waited here for you.”
-
Im 98 and still jam to this song. My wife died 33 years ago and this was our song. I miss you Agnus. See you soon

Just read the news about Taylor Hawkins passing away… love to watch this again because him bursting out of the bed /drum kit was such a memorable part of this video. Rest well and much love to Dave and the Foo’s.

When my brother died of leukemic cancer, he was wearing his headphones with his eyes closed and a smile on his face, this song was ringing on his phone. Whenever it sounds or I listen to it again, it reminds me of that scene and I wonder "If everything could ever be this real forever If anything could ever be this good again". Miss you Chris You have no idea how much i miss you

This was my dad's favorite song, he would sing and play it for me on the guitar. Soon after he even taught me how to play it, but then he passed away 3 days after my birthday this year, he will forever be playing this song for me.

My mother passed before our eyes 1/27/2024 at 7:54am. The night before the last things we said were we loved each very much and I’d see her tomorrow. I woke up with this song in my head when I heard the phone ring to get my ass to the hospital. I spent too much time trying to find socks that match. We were in the room for two minutes before they called it. Her hand didn’t squeeze back when I held her, that’s how we secretly talked. I know where she is now and that she lives through me now. I kissed her forehead and left. This is my last semester and I will make my way to graduation with this song in my head. Mom Otter time is on hold until we meet again, and then we will hold hands that never stop squeezing back.
