I eat at and review the 8 course Chef’s Tasting Menu at the three Michelin Starred fine dining seafood restaurant Le Bernardin in Midtown Manhattan of New York City. Chef Éric Ripert and the restaurant have received many awards since the establishment opened. Le Bernardin remains one of the best restaurants in the world.

I'm A working class guy. I have a blue collar job and my wife is well makes a modest salary by NYC standards. We do like to go to restaurants like this once a year because we really enjoy the experience and let me tell you this was probably one of the best meals I've ever had

the sheer fact that they got 3 stars and maintained them ever since is absolutely insane, how do the chefs deal with the pressure ? wow

Wow James! That video was epic. As a foodie, I was just astonished at the menu , presentation and extra surprises Le Bernadin offer to make each guest feel welcomed. ( I loved the story of the guest who got up during a meal and how the staff rushed to cover the plate of food) There are some important lessons here in your video - Always say yes to a great opportunity when life presents it , Don't be afraid of dining alone and enjoy your own company , some experiences are priceless and deserve a splurge! Great video and lessons here my friend. 🙏🏼 - Now I want try that Brioche and side potato that accompanied the fish !

I was there for the first time at the end of August. You captured the experience very, very well! I’m at 62 Michelin Star experiences, so slightly behind you. A few of your recent vids are influencing my next reservations. Thanks for the good work!!

It’s really cool to see reviews from people who aren’t too wealthy to appreciate experiences like this. Great video!

eating a truly special place is always worth the money. My grandparents treated me to a really nice Chinese restaurant for my High school graduation and I STILL remember the fried scallops dish I had that night. It was an expensive dish but I remembered how they wanted to take me out and they said they were proud of me and this was over 20 years ago and I still vividly remember the night.

I appreciate that you are able to critique a restaurant while not ruining the experience for yourself. Truly enjoying all the small things, while pointing out your opinion on things as well. I see too many reviewers go all in one direction. They either hate on every small thing and don’t end up appreciating the experience, or they are biased and can’t find anything wrong at all. Thank you!

i was always taught to break bread into bite size pieces and butter each bite if butter is used. I have been to many home and restaurant meals in Europe, and one would never bite a whole roll or piece of bread.
