At first glance these underwater assassins may appear to be exotic beauties, but for those who allow curiosity to get the best of them, this risky pursuit may result in a brush with death. Meet the sharp-toothed barracudas and piranhas that slice through their targets with ease and scavenge on the remaining carcasses. Feast your eyes on the predators that have mastered the ways of their underwater Atlantis.

Cameraman never dies... He's getting all this great footage because all the underwater creatures are aware of this rule. Thanks NatGeo!

Nostalgic nat geo docs like this one make me feel like a kid again, love it

    omg...a breath of fresh air....narration with a normal voice...what a concept!
  • I miss seeing documentaries like this on TV. One used to see programs like this on the Discovery channel as well as Nat Geo Wild. It is very disappointing that we can no longer see programming like this on these TV channels.
  • I love the music and the way this is narrated, it's got a lil silly edge while maintaining ambiance and it's just perfect

The little blue fish was hilarious, but we arent talking about that🤣😂🤣
  • My dad stepped on a stone fish in Thailand in the late 1960s, while in the Army. He got very sick and said it was incredibly painful, but survived it, thanks to a local woman who knew what nailed him and rushed him to a US military hospital.
  • "this little blue fish doesn't look too deadly ... Guess we're not talking about the little blue fish "had me 😂
  • I always forget how entertaining thes Nat Geo videos are. Also very interesting to learn about how weird fish are and all the crazy things they have developed over millions of years. I just watched a 45 minute video about fish and I do not regret it.
  • Life truly becomes more meaningful when we learn to respect and cherish even the smallest creatures in nature

With global economics in a shamble and increasing production costs, its a miraculous feat that this content reaches the lay person. Thank you for your efforts!

the crew of National Geographic Wild is to be warmly congratulated for these wonders that they show us. I wonder how they can be at the right place and the moment for filming in live all these deadly creatures putting themselves in every day danger especially in the deeps. very close videos from deeply under, from above and among the most dangerous creatures with no chance to escape. these documentaries are better than the most famous blockbusters. thank you Nat Geo

“The more he tries, the more she rejects him. Typical.” Lol. Fantastic commentary.

Quality documentary with an interestingly motivating narrator 😄 That's how you keep viewers intrigued.

"The sea cucumber was too humiliated to comment." 😂😂😂

Glad to see they had the Orca on this list. They're the top predator on the planet (besides us) but generally leave us alone unless the pod decides to get playful or they already know us. They're VERY careful when swimming near us though.

These documentaries are so interesting & the commentary is brilliantly written to incorporate information & hilarious undertones if you can catch them.
