My IBS Story | Endometriosis, SIBO, & How I Healed// In today’s video, I share my real IBS success story. I share my IBS story as I navigated IBS and endometriosis, IBS and SIBO, and solved my IBS D and IBS C. I’ve found a lot of comfort in other people’s IBS recovery stories, so it was time for me to share my own example of what IBS recovery looked like for me.

Incredible story, and one that really resonates with me directly aside from the endometriosis (im a male). I have wasted a lot of time and money over the years with the wrong treatments and a lot of dead ends. Many traumas, friends passing away, parents divorcing, job loss… Thank you for sharing and God Bless ❤
  • I love you because you are honest and we wish you a happy life
  • Thanks for sharing your experience. I feel like you that Keto may have caused my gut issues. I’m still struggling with acid/bile reflux that affects my throat and the PPIs and H2 blockers just cause me such mental health problems. It’s not going away and I’m not sure whether I need treatment for SIBO. My results could be borderline. I have methane Sibo and I’m trying to become regular before I attempt antimicrobials. I also have Gilberts syndrome which I’m sure affects my detoxification. My gp doesn’t know anything and just keeps prescribing another PPi. I despair, I really do. So sorry to hear about your parents death and your struggles. I’m so pleased your gut issues have settled down. You are a genuinely lovely person and kind of special as you have been through so much. I can relate to you.

Thank you for sharing your story. I have been following a low histamine diet and feel like im only eating a handful of foods. I have done one round of the xifacxin and that was a struggle to get because my insurance will not cover it. Dr said xifacxin was enough and that i didnt need the neomycin . Going to be doing a breath test soon to see where my sibo is at. Lately everything im eating again is giving me stomach pain and reflux. Ive had stomach issues for yrs but got worse when i removed my gallbladder 3 yrs ago.I have been getting treatment with natural supplements but feel its time to reevaluate after the breath test. I know this is going to be a long journey for me but im here to put the work in even though at times i feel im going one foot forward and then two steps back.. I have downloaded your gut road map.

Hi omg!! I have exactly all your issues! Bad adhesions due to endometriosis, constipation, bloating etc.
  • Hi, I also have Endo which I had excision surgery then found out I have Sibo. I got 1 round with Rixafamin+ neomycin because I have both Hydrogen + Methan. My GI told me to take erythromycin for 8 weeks and wait 4 weeks to get a re-test for Sibo after 1 treatment I can feel I still have Sibo but he refused to test after 8 weeks of Erythocymin. I just wish I can be free from Sibo. Thank you for your video.

Hi, my story is a bit different I have ibs -C along with ovarian endometriosis (which doctors keep telling me It has no link to my gut issues) I've been having anxiety and panic attacks since years now, always had chronic constipation as a child but then since a year, my bowel habits have shifted in a weird way, was taking laxatives but laxatives didn't work anymore and started having incomplete evacuation with small thin soft stools (which the last doc said it is pelvic floor dysfunction, last year I took antibiotics 3 times and during the 3 times I had better bm (which made me suspect I have sibo) then after the antibiotics thinhs got back the same bowel habits with ibs and incomplete evacuation, went to many doctors and took so many meds for slow colon transit which didn't work... At this point am really tired of trying to figure out what is going on and how to solve it...
  • If for some reason, it is not possible to take antibiotics, which herbs come closest to the action of rifaximin? Thanks, have a nice day!
  • @kumbi2798
What the side effects of rifaximin? I've heard some functional medicine doctors talking about antibiotics being one of the causes of SIBO and other gut diseases. Does rifaximin differ in any way with other common antibiotics?
  • @iamerikai
Related so hard to all of this. My road to finding out I have a tongue-to-tail SIBO + SIFO overgrowth began right after I put my dog down. They ended up putting me on Cipro, Augmentin and Doxycycline for 5 weeks which did not clear any of the infections. Currently on GI-Synergy from a Functional doc and really hoping it works.
  • I been struggling for years also and got worse after keto diet , did two rounds of xifaxin only helped little, the natural help a little, Dr mark pimentel does longer treatment 4-6 weeks up to 4 5 treatments, my treatment only 2 weeks, Probably why I’m sill struggling
