Crazy. That this company pushed a software update to critical systems that clearly wasn't properly tested before deployed. Crazy that all these computers apparently aren't "owned" by their owners. Or if they are they aren't configured properly. But knowing the way of the world today, I'd say not owned. These companies pushing auto updates, changes etc without the computer owners/ IT departments approval, verification etc. Once upon a time, even in recent history, you owned your computer. Even on home editions of the operating system. If you told it don't automatically install updates. It didn't. It didn't auto reboot to install updates. How quickly things have changed. From the home user all the way to this.

We need federal response to infosec deficiencies at those airports. Info displays and customer portals should not be updating randomly from public services. This is not a minor violation! 😵‼

I don't understand why so many companies installed that 'CrowdStrike'? I even never heard of that name until this incident. It's weird so many companies in different countries installed that 'CrowdStrike' safe guard program, and they update simultaneously.
