Nice to see I was able to help shine some light on the Beowulf ECR, and if you’re a viewer such as myself, everything he said about it is 100% true, it’s a great gun but it requires skill and mastery to use. There’s only two real reasons to use the Scout over the SVDS: if you want a bolt action compared to semi-auto and better handling speed. Everyone takes the sniper rifle firerates for granted, which aren’t fully accurate. You can ask me about the actual firerate of each sniper, but this is about the Scout. The Scout has a shown RPM value of 75, but due to it shooting at weird angles if you go that fast, you can only shoot at 65 RPM accurately, still slightly better than the SVDS for now, but if you equip a high magnification scope then that number drops to 60, which is on par with the SVDS. Speaking of the SVDS, that can fire shots off at the full 60 RPM with virtually perfect accuracy. This is ignoring the fact that the SVDS can one shot to the torso up to 50 studs and two shot all ranges afterwards, while the Scout takes 3 at all ranges if you don’t hit a headshot, and also ignoring that the SVDS has a higher ammo capacity. The M107 gets shamed for its ability to one shot to the torso at all ranges, but when you think about it, it’s a direct upgrade to the SVDS with slower handling overall and poorer recoil control, and while I gotta hand it to the SVDS for being a great rifle in any situation, the M107 can do it more effectively in the right hands. Anyway, good video, some nice reasoning behind each weapon with a few minor exceptions, but this will definitely be useful to many lower ranked players.
