You can get a gym membership for $20, I mean, I started working out in a playground for free.
So why are there gyms that cost thousands of dollars a year, and people are actually paying it. There is no way that's worth it, right?
So I emailed the worldβs most expensive and exclusive gyms, but none of them would let me visit and film, except for one... let's see what it's all about.

Nile's perspective on the money was golden - people will not think twice about spending money on things that hurt them but will scoff at spending money on things that will help - 250/month is a lot sure but framing it in how much alcohol you drink (or other recreational consumptions) is perfect

TBH 3000 Pounds a year for a gym like that isn't a brutally bad price. Was expecting worse than that.

I was shocked that the price isn't so high- I was expecting higher. Equinox in NYC is $260\month. Some Crossfit gyms in NYC are $150+, so if a member really uses this gym on a consistent basis and maximizes the facilities, then it's not a crazy price

The fact that some friends of mine are paying 10k/year (aka β¬830/month) to be trained in tennis at the age of 14 to then retire from the sport due to stress, pain, injuries and incapacity to succede is absurd. It's not even in a professional academy. I see the Β£250/month totally worth it.

Imagine paying to rent out an entire gym and then being told you can't use one of the biggest parts of it

When I lived in LDN in 2018 my monthly fee was 250 GBP with access to all their gyms, which to be honest is NOT that much considering what they offer.

Damn, that makes me appreciate the gym i go to because it has pretty much almost all the stuff that this expensive gym has, just less fancy versions of it

Would have been cool to see the spa area and what the steam room/saunas are like (assuming they have them - would be crazy if they didn't at a gym so high-end)
