Benny's 'ta-dah' is the cutest shit ever, I don’t care that he decapitated a man.

For once, I don't give a single shit about plot holes. For one man to do all that with essentially no money is an incredible feat on its own. I had not expected it to look this good. Someone finance this guy so he can keep doing stuff he's good at and obviously loves.

I like how even when James doesn't really like a low budget movie, he still shows respect to the filmmakers just for the effort they put into it.

While the woman dying in the attic wasn't flashy or anything, I'd say it's the most thematically appropriate kill in the movie. She dies alone and forgotten in the attic, left to rot like an old toy.

The fact he made all those effects himself is more than insane

Now this is what makes a horror a classic: effort, passion and a love for the artform. Love it

I love how much James stresses that he's impressed by what Karl has done while giving a completely honest review.

The guy “had a nervous breakdown and ran off with the money?” You mean, he stole the money? Hopefully he didn’t steal too much, but at least Carl’s laughing about it.

It's crazy that this movie was better as a Indie horror movie than most horror movies made with an entire studio

The fact that Holt virtually just made this entire movie all by himself... This is mind blowingly impressive. The crazier part is, the movie actually looks really good.

Mad respect to Karl Holt for creating a movie that has effects and techniques almost on par with big-budget movies with hundreds of people working on them. Karl, if you're scrolling through the comments, congratulations on making a movie, and I hope this opens up doors for bigger and better things for you.

Mad respect to Holt for basically creating a movie with his own two hands, that's dedication if I've ever seen it

I don't know why, but that little "TA-DAAAA!" Benny does is extremely satisfying to hear.

Even with it's flaws, I still can't believe that this film was basically one dude's passion project. There's something so admirable about it, and even with it's flaws, I love the passion.

The fact that the A.I.D.S. Robot does the default Gmod dance is enough to win me over
