You want highest difficulty?! Put on your new helmet and don't take it off during the game 😂
-
I think the level of the burgage plots dictates wearing armor. Level 1, no armor, level 2 gambeson, level 3 heavy armor.
-
Just a little tip, you can upgrade your starting camp with 1 log and it willl remove the homeless debuff. That way you will have an easier time starting out.
-
So if you put people in the trade house and turn on export, the people in the trade house will leave to sell the goods. Making a trade route, just changes it so that outside traders come to you to pick up and buy stock. Its faster and in larger bulk, but you can still make money early.
-
You don't need wealth to start trading/don't need to buy trade routes to sell. Just look closely in the menu. You can sell some goods (mainly raw materials or low level crafting goods) from the start, but you need a person at the trading post to sell them (they physically carry the goods to the place they sell them at) or have a trader visit you (the ones you can see on walking on foot on the kings road), which happens not too often. Having a dedicated trade route works WAY quicker though, as you know, since people come in to buy your goods more often and on a regular basis. A good start in this case imo would be selling planks. You can craft warbows with planks too and you need only 1 burgage plot on level 2 for it, which can be sustained without a great penalty if you have enough level 1 plots until you can sustain level 2 plots regularly.

This is gonna be fun... ...after the first couple of years of hardships, struggles and failure. I really enjoy watching the challenges in this game. Being forced to being efficient is medicine to my OCD.
-
fun facts some trade routes do need routes established to import export those materials black weapons and armor if it needs a trade route the game will tell you it needs one with the message in the input and export section route required not all house can equip armor T1 house is cannot equip armor they can equip helmets but not armor T2 houses can equip gamisons T3 can equip chainmail do what you want with this knowledge

You just proved your retinue is all you need. Steal the first camp and double them. 12 of them can take 18 bandits. Even defend against raiders on high ground in their own territory. You are gonna lose some. Hire replacements, get a Tower for 24, armor them up, and they are unstoppable.
-
I usually watch YT videos on 1,5x speed so, when the challenge has started, I had to check the speed but it was already on normal. Wow the pace is insane, both playing and speaking!
-
I think going for warbows/an archer unit might be better in the beginning. You only need 1 level 2 burgage plot for it and can craft the weapons yourself. All you need then is population.
-
To be even more efficient you could have assigned the ox to the logging camp
-
This is the only real hardest diff run, thanks Pravus! All the people start with standart resources and don't know how hard to survive without no resources...
-
This mode is brutal. I survive the raid, but the baron claims the territory shortly after. This is the kind of difficulty I love in games.
-
More bandit camps makes a much much easier game. Infinite gold/treasury.
-
OMG! That was the most suspenseful gasp in shock I have ever heard. XD
-
You can place hunting camps around to move the animals towards you in the beginning.
-
23:03 I just love the fact that the hunting policy means animals are breeding twice as fast and in the description there is the word "breed" twice as well. :D
-
You can sell none route items like stone, planks and such. Also the system now does dynamic trading like you wanted... saturating the market with shoes makes shoes worthless. Not sure the trade build is still worth it, but depending on how much you like micro management. Then again, if greg can put in a system where you set a minimum limit for sales to be approved then you dont lose as much wealth
-
I hope at some point we can see a Pravus run without restarts to see what that would look like
-
You're so surprised. This is one of the best streams yet
